I am an accomplished psychotherapist with substantial post-graduate research and actively remain at the “cutting edge” of problem-solving techniques. I also have the personality and warmth that enables the patient to feel safe and comfortable in a setting of absolute confidentiality. I help patients explore feelings, beliefs, thoughts, and relevant events in a structured way in a safe environment. In addition, I am a Board Certified Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida, an approved supervisor for social workers, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I serve Miami-Dade County.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, I am an expert in helping patients gain insight into their difficulties or distress, establish a greater understanding of their motivation and behavior, and help enable them to find more appropriate ways of coping or bring about change in their lives.

I use an eclectic approach to psychotherapy based upon a wide range of techniques and interventions, depending on each patient’s unique situation. Some examples include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Behavior Modification. I specialize in problem-solving and finding active solutions to remove distress.
