Is there any way to prevent suicide? What would you do/have you done if you thought a friend or family member was unstable enough to consider it? The only time I ever had to seek help on someone's behalf was in high school. I had a friend who kept talking about suicide so I notified the school counselors who called the parents and they got him into therapy. Thankfully, everything worked out ok.

I think that the best thing to do. If we feel that a person is on the verge of suicide then we must report if immediately. If we are mistaken then it won't really matter because it just shows that we care for that person.
