Burn it down till the embers smoke on the ground

And start new when your heart is an empty room

With walls of the deepest blue

Home's face: how it ages when you're away
Spring blooms and you find the love that's true

But you don't know what now to do
Cause the chase is all you know
And she stopped running months ago

And all you see
Is where else you could be
When you're at home
Out on the street
Are so many possibilities
To not be alone...

Lyrics by "Death Cab for Cutie."

Just watched the video. Beautiful but sad song. Very well done tho. I like the "death cab for cutie". Sorry, have to laugh at the name tho.

I'm sorry you are feeling so down. I need to read your other thread to see what became of the new love.

((((wd))))

"Death Cab for Cutie" was the name of a song by the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, from their album "Gorilla" - which resides in my record cabinet along with all their other albums. They were a British art/rock band of the 60's who were kind of like a musical version of Monty Python.

Bonzos rule forever OK!

Hi Free...

Sorry, the Democratic primaries have been consuming me for a while.

Anyway, I finally figured out that the singer for Death Cab is also one-half of The Postal Service, a very cool twosome who collaborate on music production by email and by...mail.

They mail audio back and forth, adding bits until a song is done.

I really love the song "From Such Great Heights."
