Why, thank you! You're too kind. However ... I don't want to rehash these subjects, but I'm pro-capital punishment for murder, a man who is dead set against pornography, a committed Christian, an advocate for chivalry and of sex within marriage only ... I go against the grain on many threads.
That's why I start a number of threads, like this one.

Well...if you put it that way....I guess a person with a strong belief system and strong core values could be considered an oddball these days....but it don't make it a bad thing! 🙂

I have learned so much from this site, and those who participate by being themselves.
I have learned not to be here every day and get caught up in the "drama" of the site, so that I can stay focued on the learning process, and not the drama.
I have learned that each of us are different, have different values, different ideas, different ways of communicating, and yet, in the end, we are all the same, a child of God.
I have learned to be tolerant of others "oddball" ideas and thoughts because I realize that I too have more than my share of those!
I have learned that not everyone here is codependant, not everyone here has all the answers, and that I certainly don't either.
I have learned that we are all here to learn and grow into the person God wants us to be, or we wouldn't be here. I have learned that some don't hear the lesson, or accept the lesson, so the lesson will be taught again and again until it is received.
I have learned that it is great to have the input from so many diverse personalities. It has graced me with the opportunity to look inward even farther, and figure out exactly who I am.
I am thankful to everyone here especially the SC for allowing us the opportunity to grow.

I think I know what you meant. If we really listen to ourselves, we'll generally find we know what we should do; we don't need anybody else to tell us. I sometimes have trouble following that inner voice, and that's where I run into most of my grief.
