Hi All,
Please read this... we feed out dogs the IAMS wet food mixed with their dry. However, it appears that there are various brands that were affected.

What was super scary for us was my husband had just bought two cases of food the night before. Out of 24 packages (we give them the pouches) - all but one were on the list that were recalled!
There is a link contained in that article that will take you to another page. That page outlines the exact lot numbers and dates of the food that they are warning not to feed to your pets.
Additionally, this was on not only our local news station, but CNN as well all weekend. They said that to date, there are approximately ten cases of pets dying from this, and an unknown number of others that have been ill, but are still treatable.
This is not only affecting dog food, but, cat food as well and they said something along the lines of 20 different brands.
I would rather be safe than sorry. We are taking all of the food back to PetSmart.
Free - we actually started mixing the wet food in with the dry for LOUD as an incentive to get him to eat. He would actually rather play and act like a fool instead of eat! So, I guess until all of this mess is cleared up, I will be making him some ground hamburger or chicken to get him to eat. Otherwise, he starts looking pretty boney!
