All is well, and you will never get it done. Life is supposed to be fun.
No one is taking score of any kind, and if you will stop taking score so much,
you will feel a whole lot better — and as you feel a whole lot better, more of

The Law of Attraction is responding to your thought, not to your current reality. When you change the thought, your reality must follow suit. If things are going well for you, then focusing upon what is happening now will cause the well-being to continue, but if there are things happening now that are not pleasing, you must find a way of taking your attention away from those unwanted things.

You have the ability to quickly change your patterns of thought, and eventually… your life experience.

Take 15 minutes daily, thinking of pleasant scenarios regarding your body, with the sole intent of enjoying your body and appreciating its strength and stamina and flexibility and beauty. When you visualize for the joy of visualizing rather than with the intention of correcting some deficiency, your thoughts are more pure and, therefore, more powerful. When you visualize to overcome something that is wrong, your thoughts are diluted with the "lackful" side of the equation. In time, your physical condition will acquiesce to your dominant thoughts.

Why do you make such a long winded account of something which is so entirely simple?  In recovery it's often times referred to as "act as if".  You don't need to do anything very special but just walk the way you want to walk and believe in your new reality.  This is why society lacks creativity because they adhere to a common perception of acceptable rules and when someone questions these guidelines they get afraid so they label that person unwell.  Perception is a uniquely individual quality.  There are things as humans that are basic which we must respect together to live in peace, but after that what we set our mind to believe has little to do with anyone else.  Except of course those who continually try to contaminate our process again due to jealousy which is really fear in the end.  This is an unfortunate reality.  Some people enjoy seeing others hurt or fail.  They have such little self esteem that the only thing they can do to feel in control is to take away someone else's hope and happiness.  These people find joy in others pain.  It is sad but it is true.

Hey Nada,

where is this course in Miracles that you refer to?  Where do I find this lesson 68.  I am stupid.  Could you please help me?  I have never heard of this course and would very much like to know how on a daily basis I could not have "my grievances" so that my mind would be as clean and happy as yours.  Please help, it would really make my day.

Do you have anything to say from your heart?  Can you not say how you feel without quoting Doctors or self help gurus?  How can you talk about people?  Aren't people strangers?  Wouldn't that be you being co-dependent by trying to impose what you believe onto them?  Remember what you said, you cannot help anyone else right?  We would not want to try and help one another & we can't right?  You made that entirely clear just recently remember?  If you are drowning because you fell off that cruise ship that crashed and you manage to regain your strength to keep afloat and you see a random person not able to hold themselves above the water do you go and try to help them and yourself or do you leave them and save yourself first and only yourself for fear of losing your own life?  

Me,

I am rushing towards them, I am grabbing them with all my strength and I am making it to the shore with them even if they are barely breathing, I refuse to let go.  After I am on shore if I see anyone else out there not able to swim, I would plunge right back in.  Yes, I will try to save every last person that I can.  With or without your permission.

So that's why I am attracting you?????  So I am real tired cause I had to be in the Psyche ward again last night and the EST is so intense.  At least temporarily it helps me forget about some people.  Have a great life.  I hope all your quotes are giving you the strength and courage you must need to continue.

Both my marriages were that way Hep.  I'm over the first one but the second still pains.  I think it's because, like the quote says, the most grief comes from not paying attention to the initial responsive feelings.  Knew it wasn't what I wanted, did it anyways, and now I must find a way to forgive myself for such foolishness.

Yeah, I'm just as guilty for not paying attention. At the time I think I'm paying attention, but I'll rationalize my actions. We all go through things like that. Me being a recovering codie, I realized one of my bigger problems was that I stayed in situations way too long. I obviously set myself up to learn something. Sometimes I'm still trying to figure out WHAT exactly was it that I learned! HA But I believe that is why we choose what we choose.

 

I'm still chewing on a relationship that ended over 10 years ago. On that note, see below for the message for today.
