Hi Tez, thanks for reading and summarizing that article. I'm pushing a deadline for a huge project that I'm.... let's say very, very behind on... and don't have the mental focus to write much on here -- especially to precis a long article!

But I did want to post that link because I found the article very thought-provoking and also it inspired a bit of hope in me. I liked her thinking processes and her call for mutual respect as a baseline for trying to facilitate communication between people who do share some common and important human goals.

Glad you liked the article! I was delighted to discover the Skeptical Enquirer and intend to browse a bunch more of the articles. After I get my project done!!

Guest_guest.

You said:

"Tez, ye will teach meditation and gaining inner peace to us all, yes?"

Would you ask an artist to teach you to paint on this site?

Would you ask a football player to teach you to play grid iron here?

Would you ask a cyclist to teach you to ride a push bike here on this site?

Come on, bro ... do you really judge meditation to be so trivial a pursuit?

Tez, I hope its trivial but I know I must be lazy. Anyway I'm on the pursuit. I talked to another lady who does Bikram Yoga so that was good.

I'll respond to your other posts in the other threads soon, I'm sorry I'm guilty of being lazy! I'm putting off too many things. Now I gotta work out though, I'll be back. Tomorrow is there for me to do all these things. Nice lazy saturday here :). Need to eat though, oops.

"I'm sorry I'm guilty of being lazy!"

It's your choice, bro. If there is no motivation then the need cannot be all that strong.

I mean I'm doing SOMETHING - like I wanna go to that bhuddist meeting. I'm not completely lazy. I wish you could teach me but I know you dont have the time or what if you did and I said "hmm bleah".

If you have a very good link or a very good book to recommend, let me know.
