Teen 'Reincarnation of Buddha' Draws Crowds

Photo Gallery

This is the closest you can get to actually seeing what the real Buddha was like.

Put one narciccistic person together with a couple of gullible people and you've got a religion.

I wonder what he eats in the forest: snails, bats or just plain KFC delivered through a secret underground chute.

hi OMW,
If you can say his name correctly, you're qualified for Nirvana:

"Ram Bahadur Bamjan"

Against my better judgment I will respond to your request.

Anyone who has even the most elementary knowledge of Shakyamuni Buddha's message, knows that this Buddha of our era has now gone beyond all rebirth permanently.

The next Buddha to visit humanity is said to be Maitreya.

Of course Shakyamuni Buddha said that we all have buddha nature's underpinning us at our deepest levels but most of us are in ignorance of this fact. Bodhisattvas are less ignorant than the rest. IMHO, at best this guy could be a bodhisattva at worst a charlatan. Since I haven't done any research into this guy, I am not in a position to comment any further either way than I have already done above.

What I meant to say is, the real Buddha was a charlatan too. See the similarity to this picture and that of this new KFC/chute guy:

Painting of the first sermon depicted at Wat Chedi Liem in Thailand

Its the same orange clothes, the expression "um, duh, you're all stupid because you want to be touched on the head by me and take it to be some kind of holy touch", sitting under a tree and having a group of followers think they must be the luckiest person on earth to have met you.

Nirvana, the cycle or rebirth by the way, is as senseless as Islam's belief that the person will die and meet Allah.

When you have these senseless core beliefs, there's nothing much left in the religion - except meditation, which is scientifically proved to work. Thats fine. It doesnt make Buddhism correct.
