My husband and I have been struggling financially and has affected our marriage. I lost my car. I left my job and went to my parent's for a month and then reconciled with husband to work on our marriage. We have been evicted over a year and are working on finding jobs. We've asked my husband's sister if we can pay $800 to stay at her apartment until we find a place and get back on our feet. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and 3 luggage's with laundry hampers. She agreed, and we offered to pay $400 first week and $400 the end of the month. I've clean and maintained her apartment, keep a/c off when we are gone. Were usually there in the mornings and gone in the afternoons and evenings.
The situation now is, we have been there for 1 week and she feels like we have taken her space. She seems annoyed and now staying at her significant other's apt.
What do I do? Is there anything I should say?
We have explained that it's difficult for us to find a place that will work with a past eviction or extended stay that allows pets. My only family lives in Utah and we live in Phoenix, AZ. Embarassed

The same way you want her to care about the situation you are in is the same way she wants you to care about the situation you have put her in. Follow the golden rule and do unto others as you would have done to you. The same way you convinced her to let you take over her place is the same way you can find someone else to do the same. This situation is your responsibility not hers. She doesn't owe you apace in her apartment.

You can say anything about me, but I am who I am & that’s something you could never be.
My name is what hoes tend to mention, keep talking bitches, I love the attention. →

I suggest you talk to her and give her assurance that you will find your own place soon. It's her right to feel uncomfortable not because you are in her place but maybe because of the pets. She was living alone until you asked the favor of staying for a while at her place so it's normal that she's not used to it. Make her understand your situation and feel comfortable at her own place.

The best you can do is that find some other place as soon as possible.
