Destiny,
Thx 4 the + energy.
What's goin on, you ask? Hmm..well, it's slow work-wise right now. 2 to 3 days worth this coming week. A couple of tentatives on the burner. A week by week wait n' see scenario. It is what it is. Just try to keep myself busy with home-work during the off-time. That is to say 'reno/repair' type stuff - not school related. There's always a ton of things to do that way. Have a jam scheduled tomorrow at my buddy's house in the foothills so, that'll be a bit of fun for a change. Think that about sums it up for now.
And y'all?
You've were boating off the Mexican coast, you say? Sounds pretty nice. Got an extra seat?

CraigCo- you are welcome.
i forgot.. what type of work do u do? it sounds like you are in the home repair/remodeling business?
nice to hear u have friends and some fun. thats what it is all about.
things here are peaceful. i just love being able to get down to the ocean in 20 minutes. the sunsets are awesome. the air seems just right.
there are a lot of boats in the harbor going out all of the time. sure there is an extra seat.
a really big pelican scared some tourists on the pier. they ran up and grabbed on to me and had me lead them by the bird.
when there is a negative tide i love looking at all of the seashells and sea life that it uncovers.

Dest,
Yea, in that biz & also make signs occasionally on the side for a few extra bucks when I can.
It was nice to get back together with some old friends following my split. Had basically abandoned them all while married. lol The ex didn't like them so, we didn't ever hook up.
20 mins from the ocean sounds like a sweet deal ya got goin on there. With the wildlife (pelicans) n' all. Haven't been on a coastal beach for many a year. Still can smell the briny ocean toss in my mind tho. Almost had a gig on Vancouver Island this past week, but alas, it didn't transpire. For me, a walk on the beach at dusk would be awe inspiring. Maybe one day!?

craigCo.
there will always be a need for "house doctors" literally.
i completely lost touch with my friends, even my pony and dogs when my XX was in the picture. now that he is out of the picture i have joined the land of normalacy again.
as far as being near the ocean was concerned i woke up one day and realized that that day had finally dawned. i was going to be where i wanted to be.
to me the ocean is such a life giving force. wish man would stop harvesting it.

Destiny,
Yes, it was 'after the fact' that I learned how typical it was of addicts to keep their significant others separated from old friends. They think we're easier to control that way.
Re - your opposition to overfishing the oceans: Yea, mankind doesn't seem to stop at anything where there's money to be made. It always, always about the damned money! God I HATE money! lol

CraigCo- everything had to revolve around My XX addict/alcoholic. he always behaved like no one else was in the picture. everything in my life were just obstacles in the way from getting what he wanted. he tried to control me with emotional manipulation. A VERY DARK MOMENT IN HISTORY.
if humans buy canned tuna, etc. it makes them predators.
