I got a new amythest HHR that needs some miles put on it! (It's soooo me!) Gas tank is full, just waiting for you; pick you up at the airport?

Which CDs you bringing along for the ride? Janis Jopln, Cher, CCR, Bach, and more to fit our mood I have.

And Billy Joel.....singing; "She's Always a Woman to Me" plus all the hits

And Jim Croce is coming for the ride.

Guns and Roses? MamaC I don't particularly like them, but I was listening to Black Sabbath last nite, can you believe that? Inon Man, Paranoid, must be what we listened to from way back still sounds okay today.

I can't beleive I admitted that one.

Yes, oops, mamac, We'll pick you up along the way. How's Seek getting there? It is getting crowded, but ther's plenty of room for one more! got the peddle to the metal........

Oh yea... I need out of this house and away from everyone so badly.

Yes, I remember Black Sabbath. Sweet Leaf was what an old heart throb called me, but I didn't smoke the stuff. He did tho.

Funniest look on my son's face. Years ago. He was always lookin for a shock factor to throw in and mama just don't do shocked. He turned on one of his radio stations and ol Ozzy was a singing and mama joined in. lol. The look on his face. 🙂
fond memories.

I like Nazareth, Kiss, Tubes, Elton, Heart. Dreamboat Annie and Captain Fantastic were my fav. albumns.

Thanks for the ride. I appreciate it. 🙂

it will be a blast, i'm not into heavy metal...but we can throw in the Beach Boys, and Frank and Dean for sentiment sake. Course seek, the moonlight seranade would be hard to turn down!

happy weekend to all of you...maybe in the fall we can actually put this together?

Hi Sew,

Yes, I can do sing alongs. What are some songs you have in mind? I'll start practicing up on them.

I always liked "Row Row Row Your Boat".

guppy, omw, sew, mamacin,

Let's make it happen then. Anybody mind if I play some jazz guitar while I drive? .. I mean, of course, jazz guitar music on a tape. One of my favorite records is a collection of jazz guitar songs from 1921 to 1971.

mamacin (to distinguish you from the other mamac),

If you don't like the horns, I'll leave my Dixieland records behind. I'll also bring my whiteboard instead of my chalkboard.

I can play some jazz guitar, but mainly chords, not many notes. I know all sorts of fancy chords.

seeker, gosh I wish I could do that. I have to make a commitment to learn music. I have inborn talent and can play any instrument. All I need is practice. I'm trying to get piano lessons. I just LOVE jazz

Seeker:

I can compromise. I'll bring my headset so you can play your jazz. I'll quietly listen to Kelly Clarkson.

Hey, my daughter sang Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson at her first recital. She did great.

"Style is tight, clean and refreshingly free from scientific, mystical, philosophical and theological jargon. . . . It's the kind of book where you'll need to stop and do 15 minutes of deep thinking and pondering every few pages . . . Outstanding book, engrossing, a classic - Wendy Christensen, Inscriptions, the weekly e-zine for professional writers, (InscriptionsMagazine.com)"

Tez, i agree it looks like very interesting reading.
