Destinystar.
Thanks for your compliment.
I claim no great knowledge of the Mormon religion. I have had discussions with Mormans and have read the part of their 'Book of Mormon' that they recommended, and discussed same with them at some length. Despite their best efforts in kneeling down in front of me and praying for me I was neither 'converted' nor impressed by their holy book.

Tez- i value your opion and appreciate your input. i have been following your posts and find them very informative.
what draws so many to christianity is the promise of ever lasting life. the need for some to be assured of that will probably outweigh their need for humanistic knowledge.
i agree many a person has exploited the bible for profit.

this is very interesting to read. i have always wondered about th gaps in the Bible. i wondered if that was cos of the Books taken out but i read some of those n didnt find anythimg n there. anything that cast any light that is. i admit that i always wished there wa some physical proof of Jesus Christ. At least His bones or a marker where He was buried. without that beleving in Him is truly a test of faith. oops- i would never say that at my church. lol.
