bevdee. Thanks for getting me back on track.

Yea. It went just
fine and there's another BBQ at my aunts to see visiting
"Nederlanders" off on Sunday. I love going to my aunts, spending
time with my cousins. Ok u guys.I am managing another laugh now. I
was being playful in a dark way.hehe.

Destiny. I doubt
there is a solution. Knowing posters outside of AAC gives an unfair
advantage when it comes to bad intentions. It's what lands HERE that
matters. If some know eachother then everyone should have that
right and choose who they want to know. IMHO. It's all or
nothing so the rule change leaves some of us more vulnerable IF
things turn ugly.

Was I that ugly
with you? I need to know that. I'm a strong stubborn personality so
i am going to attract this at times.

I would like the
anonymity rule to be a personal choice, but that would entail more
work from the site owners,a moderator and more funding i would
think. Whats all this safe stuff? At AA, NA, CODA even group
therapy, people share their darkest secrets and know eachother. The
same safety issues exist and it's more dangerous than online. Maybe
it's the volume of viewers? It means people gotta protect
themselves better. Most other forums get advert revenue on top of
contributions.

I just try to deal
with MY stuff and who i am involved with. Share or help when my
issues relate.

I've seen a lot of
people run off when they are in a conflict, then say they're not
safe.

I'm not letting
those who disagree or dislike me have that power over
me.

I think what Bitsy
posted is spot on!

"I don't have a
dog in this fight"

Maybe people are
less prone to fight if they are less invested in others with
anonymity?

MYOB, or try to
defuse a bad situation. Not everyone can do that.

Bitsy..a smoke
break, HA! I don't indulge much except the weekends. Sorry it went
on on your thread> YOU STARTED IT! ;0P

Thanks for the
wise and understanding words. No offense taken at all.

Oh here's another
one for ya'll

"I'm not bad, I'm
just drawn that way"

MSG-
you said"If some know eachother then everyone should have that
right and choose who they want to know." sounds fair to
me.

You asked if you
were ugly to me. No not at all.

We are all on a
journey here, but at different points. If you have chosen not to
associate with certain people or not to allow certain issues in
your life because they are an obstacle in your path towards
recovery then I respect you for that.

Hi
Destiny. TY for understanding. :0)

I read the
anonymity thread posted to you , am aware of the complexities and
pitfalls. I still would like to choose.

OH
WELL!

I'm glad I'm back
to work tomorrow. I need the shifted focus.

It hasn't been a
productive day at home but here!? HOOWEE. I'm knackered.

I hope your doing
ok where you are. Perhaps i can "listen" to you for once sometime
soon. I'll be online for another hour if you want to share
something now.

Up to
you.

Hi
MSG- Choice is a good thing. My life is going really good. I got a
loan modification approved that took my payments way down. Not a
temporary one, but a permanent one. I have renters in the house and
have been marketing it aggressively to sell or lease to someone who
intends to buy it. Phone has been ringing off the hook from
literally all over the world. Biggest problem is no one has
verifiable income or good credit. I am on a 6 month plan to find
that needle in a hay stack. My long term goal is to move out of
this hot desert to a place with trees and water.

Yes i
did read a while back about how high maintenance your place is too.
Being off the grid, managing animals wild and domestic. It must be
tough being on your own now but your kids are still
there?

That's wonderful
you got some relief on the mortgage. Renters too. Do they have
rooms and share the kitchen and washroom facilities? or do you have
separate areas.

If they share the
house with you are they interesting, respectful and helpful around
the place?

Got them "mucking
out" LOL U know i used to train horses in my teens, then i
developed asthma and got allergic. I wanted to breed, train and
sell them. At that age it's so romantic. Not an easy thing to do
for a city girl.

Sounds like u have
it on an international market. THAT helps! Hopefully somebody with
$$ will snap it up. I doubt i could handle living in the the desert
but i would enjoy a long stay.

My place is like a
Northern rain forest. Protected biosphere so most of the places
around here are limited with the construction they can do. We can't
cut any tres in the back along the escarpment but that is fine. I
want it natural. There is a height restriction of 35 for
structures. Creek in the back, and our own drilled well. Too much
water when it rains. We're working on getting off the grid and want
geothermal and solar combined.

MSG-
Hi. I rented the entire home out to a couple April 1st. That was
while my loan modification was being approved. They painted the
inside of it. They called me a while back about finding 3 green
mojave rattle snakes on the property. The last call was about a bob
cat that tried to get into a cage where they kept their dog at
night, they could hear it purring.

I had no idea what
off the gird meant til someone posted a thread about it. Now I am
getting calls about people wanting to live in it off the grid. We
have had people living like that in my community for years. Not
cause they want to go green but cause they are poor. The only
source of heat for many is a wood burning stove they also use it to
cook in. No electricity cause no money to get their place hooked up
to power. Many get trucked in water. Cant afford a water meter. We
have only lived modern since 2007 when I decided to tear down the
original homestead and put up a manufactured home. I liked it the
kids hated it. My son says after he gets a job he is moving out
back into a small cabin. He likes it better that way. I offered him
the home and he said no.

The unique thing
about my property is that it is located in a wilderness area. About
as remote as can be. Also the price. It is very very
inexpensive.

Your place sounds
beautiful. I miss the rain, trees and water. I dont care for all
the sunshine and dry heat. If I had a creek I would fish in it.
Have the poles, rods and all.

Destiny. That's wonderful news about your home selling. On to
plan B! " must seek moisture and greenry"

You're probably
having a great time in the mountains with the kids. ..and I'm going
to make you feel guilty cause you're not posting here! Not
likely.

I just hang on
here all day, 24/7, waiting for "company".Ahahahaha ;0)

I wanna go fishin
TOO!

CC. welcome back
dude. Story of our lives lately eh! At least u had the day off, I
had Half of it and went to see The kings ( Switch into Glide one
hit wonders) and Dave Wilcox. It's ok. Holidays redirect the rush
hour masses to all the wild places: parks, resorts, entertainment.
I prefer going to these places when everyone is
WORKING!LOL

There were more
people than usual hiking the trails, visiting the waterfalls,
behind our place. Nobody treked onto our property. Even if they did
it doesn't bother me much. Hikers are harmless as long as they take
their GARBAGE with them,hehe.

I was thinking of
building a Cob cottage/ workshop/guest house in the hillside out
back use it as a retreat and B&B for hikers. Attract
international hikers, mountain bikers, ceoss country skiers in the
winter.

I want to have a
week set aside, invite everyone i know for an educational workshop
( i know a facilitator, educator who does this) Let them camp out,
feed them and have the manpower to do this.It takes a LOT of labour
and perhaps a cement mixer to help with the "MUDD".

I mentioned this
before so if you don't know, Google "Cob Cottage" images. Yer gonna
love it.

Holland won today
against Brazil!!D was texting me during the game. the i had fun
honking at everyone with a dutch team flag, hehe. Hup Holland
HUP!

Hey
Emma! Still busier than a one legged man in butt kickin contest
over this way. Davis Wilcox? Gotta love that, hey? A lot like James
Taylor in his musical stylings, vocal timbre, melodies & all.
Love that genre.

I'll check out the
"cob on the corn cottage' deal. 😉

Re the
"international hikers, skiers n such - do you think it could prove
to be lucrative providing a retreat? Or would that be offered
charitably, out of the kindness of your dumb ol heart?
lol

Holland beat out
Brazil, you say? At what - Tennis?? I'm right out of the loop
sportswise. But thanks for the tip. That's a load off! Phew! I'll
sleep better tonight. lol Should the Stamps or the Flames make it
to the playoffs, then I might find myself watching the highlits
occasionally. That's about the extent of my passion for sports.
There are enough sports fans in my fam to make up for it. I'm the
black sheep that way. Acually come to think about it - in most
ways. hehe Muh, whadaya do tho.

Behave your self -
don't do anything I wouldn't.

Hi
all. Happy 4th of July! LOL, just thought I'd invade the Canadian
thread with that.

That Cob Cottage
thing sounds really great. If you've got the land (which it sounds
like you do), why not! Who knows what may come from that. People
you'll meet, etc......I think it's a great idea.

Hey CC- A man
who's not into sports? How refreshing!

CC
Rider..one legged man in a butt kickin contest. How does that work?
I guess he doesn't get his kicked cause every time HE ries he sttin
on HIS> U freak!, LMAOOOoooooooooH

D is the sport
nut. I just support the dutch team due to my blood ties. So it's
better to accept and enjoy soccer than bitch about him taking his
holidays JUST TO WATCH FIFA! ( ok i had to embellish the text with
some attitude) By the time I'm home the games are
done,hehe.

I dunno CC.
Compairing Taylor to wilcox is like compairing a chunk of Wood to
Jello.

"My" Wilcox is far
more elastic in his vocal and musical stylings. Like the Comedic
Timothy Leary of Rythmn and Blues. He's a character!

This ( Canadian)
David Wilcox!

Not THat
DW.

Hey Hep! I must
concur!LOL

Happy July 4th to
u BTW. Yea yea go ahead!Invade. That's what ya'll
do.hehe

Since us three
heads are here ( and balck sheep) how's about a "huffer".
aaahahahah

I'm off til
Monday. Time to kick back and Relaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxx.

M&M, Yeah, I meant the "Start with the end" Wilcox. The
other one is fun but a little rougher around the edges. My
confusion - it must've been the 'hippy lettuce'.

I've always
enjoyed a little scrimmage with the boys throughout my life. Toss
the ol pig n such. Just never saw the attraction to watching games
much. Some would argue that a 'real/proper man' does want that. My
friends used to tease me about about my lack of enthusiasm for
sports, my taste in music, how I disliked beer but liked liqueurs
or "girly drinks" as they'd put it. Didn't bother me though as it
'was' true & all meant in good fun anyway.

Happy 4th day of
the 7th month, Hep!

Enjoy your
weekend!

Hi
((CC))

"Where and what?"
Same ole same ole, cept your right about the heat. This week has
been overwhelming to say the least: workwise, family, soccer (
Holland is in the finals)and the HEAT!

I use my trucks
A/c but I'm outside on another property before it's satisfying AND
some of my properties are large, close together so I'm in one place
for about 3-4 hr's.

Our A/C wasn't
working in the house so sleeping then going out in the heat pushed
me to the limits. I've always had a cool Bedroom to sleep in til
this yr and it is getting to me. (I haven't turned on my PC since
Monday. Sorry i didn't answer earlier. The computer needed some
time off too i suppose. ;0))

Nothing bad
really, I've just had to set priorities and need to cool down my
boiled egg_head when i get home. Hard to do when the house is
sweltering. The basement is cool but it's not the kind of BM to
spend liesurly time in. I noticed the spider population has
exploded. LOL

The dog has been
going down there for relief and i can't blame him since he's a Big
Hairy Black thing.

We never used the
A/C before since last summer wasn't so hot. Turns out my
Electrician forgot to install a breaker in the new panel so he was
here last night to hook it up. It came on with no probs, AND he
used to be an A/C tech in his "younger" yrs.Better than paying an
A/C tech over 150 for a service call, and who knows what on top of
that.

Anyway. Now the
A/c is working and the heat wave has passed! We'll definately have a
few more.

I have a barter
system set up with my electrician, and he's become a good friend.
Can't barter all the time but it's nice to get this kind of network
going. How r u doing in that Dept? Or are you needing the $$$. It
kindof works for those who are set up with paid off house, little
debt. etc. I'm just not ready to barter as much as i would like but
the awareness is increasing and more people with skills are opening
up to it.

It really helps
the social networking aspect too. Taking money out of things
changes people for the better.

So far mixing
friendship with Biz hasn't been an issue.

Son is in Summer
school til the end of next week, then i need him to do a few small
hardscape jobs so i can take a 4 day holiday the first week of
August. D has that week off and we plan to go somwhere's. Hard to
book antyhing this late but we may go up north to our friends
cabin. It's a little too rustic but the fishing is good. I kindof
want comfort tho since i work outside ya know?

Camping, or cabins
with no plumbing or water doesn't appeal to me at all
anymore!

Our place is like
a cottage so that's another thing. Not like we need to escape the
city and get back to nature, hehe.

I'm glad your
getting lots of work. It wasn't long ago we were kindof freaking
out about all that. Is it the economy or are we "manifesting". I
think it's a little of both,hehe;0).....and we just work our A$$e$
off! ( literally for me. I need new clothes!)

A Big Hell_Oh to
AAC friends! Hope everyone is doing well.

(M)

Economy or
manifesting? Sure yeah, I'll go with the "a little of both"
thinking. Things certainly have improved substantially. It was
pretty bad there for awhile & may get that way yet again in the
future?? Are we just in the eye of the global financial storm? Mini
ups & downs. Oops - not sending out good energy here. Comments
rescinded. lol

Rainy here today.
Working inside on the pc so it's of no consequence
really.

Nice that you'll
get away for a bit of a holiday. Given you cabin type home
atmosphere you'd probably enjoy a fancy hotel with room service,
pool & the works. Rarely buy lotto tickets but did a week or so
ago & haven't checked the #'s yet. If I win I'll send you &
D off to the carribean or somewhere. lol

Yeah, bartering is
the sh*t, for sure. I'd love to establish a few more contacts that
way myself. I was recently able to acquire my vehicle by bartering
with a fellow tradesman. Some cash & some labour in exchange
for the wheels. Wheels that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to
easily afford.

Hope you're
sleeping comfortably now. Catch ya later! 😉

The
economy is still bad, in fact, its worse. The "official" numbers
are doctored. Take unenployment for exampl, the numbers don't
include the ones who are not getting paid anynore, who are
"disgruntled" and stopped looking for work. And they include
temporary work (like the censis which would add a new job every
week because they would in essence re-hire the same worker evey
week. I don't remember the rest, but there is a video of Ron Paul
talking to congress about the real unemployment numbers according
to other websites (than the governments) and then there is Peter
Schiff and others who can be found on youtube talking about the
false conclusions from temporary fixes or inflated dollars, etc.
Here is the Ron Paul video

Ya
know I always go back top Native or Pagan wisdom when the world and
people don't make sense, create a lot of pain in me.

I'm feeling pretty
good lately but this "poke", reminder, effort put forth by you

Thank You

That hug felt
great! 🙂 Thanks bud! (you, not your favored
B.C.Budd..;))

I wasn't really
trying to nudge ya..though if ya got a helpful nudge out of it
somehow then right on! Ha. I just think of you a lot as we tend to
poke around in many similar things..similar interests, struggles
and passions..so i think anyway..eh? anywho..

I have a strong
connection to Native tradition and wisdom etc..too. Intensely
moving, aware, living connectedness with nature.. animals,
community..the spirit of/in these.

It always brings
me comfort to visit this visionary wisdom. Very grounding stuff
being offered by so many native tribes.

I thought seeing
all these new emerging white animal good harbinger friends was hope
filled somehow.

Hope you're
well.

See ya
around.
