I never saw the movie either. I recently borrowed it from the library, but I didn't get the time to watch it, so I returned it. Yes, it is Boo Radley. And, he lives down the street from me. =)

Christmas in Conneticut...are you speaking of the 1945 or 1992 version?

The 1992 version was directed by Arnaod Scharzenhaggen with leads Diane Carrol and Kris Kristofferson
Right?

the 1945 version of C in Conn..was Barbara Stanwick, both of those movies are cute.

To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite book....and just about the only book I've read where I didn't hate the movie version. It is Boo Radley, and he is played by Robert Duvall, I believe. Clarence is the angel in Wonderful Life....no clue what his last name was. Never saw Christmas in Connecticut, but White Christmas is my favorite holiday movie.

The angel in "It's a Wonderful Life" was Clarence, you are correct. His last name was 'Oddbody'. Don't remember if it was mentioned in the script or not. But on the movie actor listing, it gives his full name; Clarence Oddbody. Will be something to look forward to catching when we watch it this year, for those who watch it a a traditional holiday experience.

That is a cute movie! Anyone know the title of the movie with the eccentric woman raising her nephew, he grows up and wants to marry a rich girl. The aunt has a few husbands, and writes a book on all her adventures...

I know this is not a movie, but has anyone seen that special on animal planet called "Growing up Tiger" about this pair of new born tiger cubs being raised by a couple to live in a sanctuary? Amazing they start from being such tiny babies! Adorable! They are such beautiful animals they take your breath away... a shame they are so endangered.

With the aunt and nephew are you talking about Rosalid Russell in 'Auntie Mame'?

I love that movie! My favorite quote I use is; "Life is a banquet and most damn fools are starving to death; so live, live, live!"

I have that saying on my PC screen. It was later played by Lucille Ball. She also did a good job, but I favor Russell's first older version.

Is this the movie you speak about?

Oooh, I love the Sisters song from White Christmas. I have three sisters and no brothers and we used to sing that song all the time when we were kids. What a great movie...

Hope it's on TV soon....hubby disconnected my satellite (and cancelled the newspaper) so I'm pretty much cut off from the outside world except for the computer. Those were the only two bills he paid, and of course he cuts them off as soon as he leaves. So I guess I'll buy my favorites on DVD! Don't let the turkeys get you down, eh?
