Hi
Craig,

I have heard of
subservint women. I think I read aboout it in the bible.

Fuck that
shit.

In truth I can
barely imagine why any sane man would ever, ever want to be with
that kind of woman.

I am a very strong
man. Ten fingers and ten toes of death kinda thing. But you know?
This world is a very inconvienient world.

So if a rabid
grizzly bear breaks down my front door at 1 AM, I would rather be
sleeping with the kind of woman who will instantly pop out of bed,
do three cartwheels and a handspring, pluck the bear's right eye
out with her fingertips, roll across the floor, grab the shotgun
and take care of business.

If there are TWO
bears she should wake me up so I can help.

THAT kind of woman
will not take ANY kind of shit from me, and I had better remember
that.

Subservient women.
Feh, who needs 'em?

"Ummm, honey. the
Bible says you are supposed to be submissive to me

The
Bible was written and edited by men. And more than a few of those
editors were pretty fucking stupid.

And the latest
contributed text was what, nine hundred fucking years ago or some
darn thing?

No. No fucking
way.

MsG -
"How would one translate Deuteronomy, or Proverbs descriptions of
women?

If she bitches or
complains stay away from her. It's best to wander the city and visit
a strip club!ahahaha"

Here's another way
of saying it - this was on a coffee mug I bought at at a Navajo
gift shop in northern Arizona -

A wise brave
knows to leave tipi when trouble brews inside.

Haha- I've said it
all along - there is universal folk wisdom that crosses all
divides. Some wisdom from the bible aint necessarily
"divine".

Wd,

"Subservient
women. Feh, who needs 'em?"

Yes, I agree. My
ex had it in her head that she had to do everything domestic. Cook,
dishes, laundry, cleaning etc. In fact, she would be upset if I
even dabbled in any of those type of chores. She'd take it
personally, Felt she wasn't adequate. When it didn't even occur to
me. I was just helpin out. I think her type is a dieing breed.
Almost the stuff of 'Ripley's believe it or not' to find someone
like that these days!

A more independant
woman is certainly preferable but, stronger physically? I'm not so
sure about that. Female body builders are too masculine looking.
Not desireable IMO. Aint natural, although I can appreciate the
advantages re - the "Grizzly" scenario. hehe

Hi
CraigCo,

I think we are on
the same page.

I am a strong man
with a strong personality. I want to be partnered with my "match."
I like smart, powerful, assertive women. As long as there is mutual
respect, it's all good.

As far as division
of household labor, I think the couple ought to mutually agree to
divide it up according to their talents and desires.

I want to be the
one who moves heavy boxes and furniture, carries in groceries from
the car and pushes the lawn mower around. It helps me feel manly.
Same thing with scrubbing of floors.

I am not so good
at making fish chowder so you take that one Baby.

But if it's
Chinese dinner night, please let me do the cooking.

I hate ironing and
I hate dusting delicate nicknacks.

I think divying up
chorse in a rational way frees up time and emotional energy that
can be spent productively on collaboration and intimacy.

Kinda
thing.
