I'm 25....there were some kids skateboarding in front of my office building and everyone was complaining so I went outside and told them to stop and the boys said "Sorry, ma'am." Oooooh, what a hoot. I feel oooooolllllddddd.

The plot thickens!

I called University Police on those little suckers. They kept skateboarding so I said, don't MAKE me call the cops, and they were all sassy (like little boys are) and said, What? We aren't skateboarding, ma'am. hah. hahahaha.

So the cop pulls up and I hear one say "Here they come!" And they scatter like little mice.

Oh the future of America. Barf.

Guess I am lucky. The first time I was called ma'am, I was 35 or so, must be the baby face. Also got carded way past what I considered a reasonable mistake.

I think they were just trying to get your goat. Apparently, they did. Little rascals!

I had my nieces (age 10 and 11) visiting. And they asked me, if I need a nap after lunch, like grandma and grandpa do.

Harrrumph. Don't you complain about feeling oooold, just because you got ma'mmed

I will be 40 this year - don't feel grandmotherly, though

I have no idea why they called me ma'am! I don't look old at all...I am half asian, and not to be stereotypical, but asian people age really well. My mom is gorgeous. I wish I were beautiful like her, but sadly I am only "pretty" or "Cute".

My crush said they called me ma'am to p- me off. This worked so I guess boys know boys, hahaha.

Too funny Cici that happened to me last night at a grocery store. The "little" girl at the check out said "have a nice night ma'am".

Blahhhh.....I'm 37 but I don't feel like or look like it. I get carded all the time and someone even asked my 30 year old bf if he was robbing the cradle. Ha ha!! But then I get called ma'am......excuse me!!!

And about the skateboarders.....I just figure at least they aren't doing what I was out doing when I was that age!!!! Maybe they aren't so bad...just having some fun and being a little rebellious. Weren't we all at that age?

yeah that's funny, i've been gettin called sir a lot lately too. it weirds me out. getting called sir, but then getting carded for cigarettes! i actually got kicked out of a bar last night because my id just expired and the dmv hasn't sent my renewal yet though it's been over two months. i couldn't believe it. maybe it's 'cos i used to be one of those rascal skateboarders, it's my paybacks or something. and maybe it's also 'cos i was just going to the bar to play pacman with my friend! i guess that probably does make me seem young...

Oooh, theres still Pacman out where you go??/ I wanna play!!

I do still get carded frequently, and I get called Ma'am more too, must be that "transitional" time I keep hearing about.
Some lady was like "Oh, I'm sorry, you look like just a kid" when she carded me, andI said "well, It must be the oil of Olay." and I smiled at her. But she carded me for buying a lighter!!! not even cigarrettes?!?!?!( I started getting them on line becasue the Governor here just raised the taxes on them AGAIN, so theyre up to $4.98 a pack!!! on line i get a carton for 24.95
Not that i should be smoking with all my health issues, but Its my only vice aside from Chocolate...
my step son is a little skater boy in the making, and he's adorable. I used to date all those skater boys too, and Im SURe they were just calling you Ma'am to annoy you! IF they only knew that people across the counrty are typing about it!!!
Lil' buggerz.

There's pacman around here too.

I actually have one of those that you can hook up to your TV and play.

I am a beast!

Ms Pacman is my fav. =)

I liked skater boys when I was younger. (Well, as long as they bathed!)

I get called ma'am all the time though. I think. I dunno. I'll have to look out for it.

I know once when I was maybe 11 years old, we lived in a hotel for an entire summer.

I baby-sat my younger brother while my mom went to work. One day the cleaning lady was being nice and talking to me, and she referred to my younger brother as my son!

I am only 6 years older than he is.

Sweet Amanda,
LOL, I had my little cousin with me once, and I was about 13, and a woman called her my daughter, said we looked "just a like", I was really weirded out by that.
"whatever" i guess.
Yeah, as long as they bathed... I didn't go the gutter-punk route... Pheremones or not, B.O. is a No-No. Still like the mohawk's though....

You "girls" are funny.

My baby boy is a total skater dude!! (he's 9) But I make him shower daily and he wears AXE. He smells so good and he's adorable....not that I'm partial or anything. =)

No, not an Atari. Though I do vaguely remember playing one when I was a kid.

The thing I have is a plug n' play joystick. I bought it at EBGames. It has 4 or 5 classic arcade games on it. I own 3 different joysticks:

I have Frogger. (That one just has Frogger on it, no others.)

I also have a PacMan and a Ms PacMan joystick.

On the PacMan one the games are Rally-X (I love that game!), Bosconian (or something like that... Another one that I love!), Dig Dug... (I do not for the life of me understand that one...), PacMan, and Galaga.

The Ms PacMan one has Pole Position on it, Mappy, Galaxian... I can't remember the other game included in that one.

All I need to complete my set is Pong. =)

I was a skater girl when I was a pre-teen/early teen. I used to dye my hair all kinds of wild colors. I'm a girlie girl now... But for some reason that certain type of guy still catches my eye. *Sigh* Of course I like all 'types' of guys! LOL

I don't like mohawks though. Kinda scary to me.
