Christianity is real. Jesus Christ is God. Sin separates you from God, which is why JC died for you.

You don't see Christians...real ones, converting to Islam, or Muslim because they won't renounce God and who he is. But you do see Islam and Muslim turning to Christianity. You don't see Islamic missionaries all over the world, you see Christian missionaries all over the world.

I can't convince you only God can, and only God can if you are willing. Read the post by me what Maya Angelou wrote on the famous people thread here. No Christian is perfect, they just know who their God is. I choose to be a Christian, not a Muslim nor Islamic.

guest, why do you not believe? is it because of how you were taught and you just take it as word? if i remember from posts long ago you are from Pakistan, right? it does not matter to me where you are from, and i only tell you what i believe and what i know.

>> Sin separates you from God, which is why JC died for you. < < James cut down the tree therefore cheesecake is tasty. Whats the connection there? >> But you do see Islam and Muslim turning to Christianity. < < muslims claim theirs is the fastest growing religion. >> I can't convince you only God can, and only God can if you are willing. < < You're like all the rest. Religion will die, eventually. There is no evidence for any of these religions claiming to be from God. We're going in the right direction. Religion is becoming less and less as times goes. Thats how it is. In the end, logic and sense wins.

Religion or JC, whatever you wanna call it. I'm an athiest now and I did believe in God. Why do you wanna know my personal history.. what good is it.

All I'm asking is: I'm athiest. Convince me to become a Christian. It wont happen in a 1000 years.

OMW nor anyone can convince you to become anything. She is not out to take your challenge for the sake of yu just argung.

It is clear you 1) do not read all post content befosre answering back, 2) are baiting her to prove something that you are not even seeking information on.

You might as well stand on top of Mt Everest and tell OMW to prove to you you are on top or that she cannot climb fasst enough to catch you before you run to the other side of the mountain.

You talk of logic, yet you use, pardon me, such 'cheesey' illogic thrown back that it is of no value posting or reading this thread.

I won't read it again now.

If it won't happen in a 1000 years then why ask her to convince you? That makes absolutely no sense to me. That's like sayin I won't eat my peas and I'd like to see you make me. Huh???

I'm sorry, I've had a very strong experience with religion. Used to be a faithful believer, believed more than my peers did and I left it. That "extraction" from religion was a strong experience for me.

Then for a couple of years I was involved in debate and other stuff and the debates were usually not pretty from both sides. It was very strong and negative. I left all that now, I cant do it - dont have the energy and dont want to do it.

So you guys are soft compared to me. I'm harsh and I'm sorry for that. I should be nicer but its hard for me to hold back and censor myself. Ok me done.

I guess I dont have much to talk about now, I mean I ask for proof, I know I'm not going to get it. Its jsut sometimes I feel like asking again cause it makes me feel good cause in my opinion its easy to win (since no one can give me proof).

ok done here. Sorry again if I sound harsh, ist just my very strong rebellion against religion. hope you guys are doing good.

guest,

{ok so whats the experiment?

I haven't read this thread for a while, so am not aware of what you may have posted after this. But to get to your question: If I tell you what the experiement is, would you be open to performing it?

>> However, you have to be willing to perform the experiment, so to speak.< < does anyone have to be willing to observe the fact that gravity is 9.8 m/s2 ? Even if they wished it was 0 or 5.5, they'd still see the fact that its 9.8. Even if they're not willing to see the facts, they'll still see them. } Before one can see this, one has to be willing to procure the equipment to measure the acceleration of gravity, set it up, and measure values that will enable you to calculate the 9.8 m/sec2 value. Same with the experiment I have in mind. You have to be willing to set yourself up to perform the experiment; otherwise, you'll never be able to run it.

I just started reading this thread yesterday. There is nothing wrong w/ you voicing your opinion. None at all. But when you start attacking OMW then you have crossed the line.

My post was not to discourage you from posting but to maybe let you see how out of hand this has become.

So, if we all kiss and make up and go to our perspective corners then let the debate begin again. But as Seeker said... if you are totally unwilling to consider then what is the point of the debate. In that case you are setting the posters up for frustration and hurt.

I like ya Guest. I'm not fussin. Just giving a point of view from an outsider.

I know, I'm sometimes really not nice - sorry, apologies. I stay out of religious debate usually and then I ask myself why I went into it again. I just got excited in the replies in the other thread.

ok .. so lets hear it.

thank you for your honesty. i'll let others talk here for awhile, but i truly am interested in finding out which religion you followed and what that meant for you. truly am interested to know, not for argument, just to know.

guest,

If you'd prefer to drop it, so do I. I'm not up to any debates that generate more heat than light. So it's best we just let things slide.

i'm sorry again if i was cold! I'm kinda like WD (ah got a partner in crime), he says he's more logical and less emotional so he gives straight responses like me.

I hope its the last time I'll debate on this topic. If I start it again, just remind me of my own promise and I'll be silenced :d
