all
the more reason to live life now the best you can, who knows it may
end for some of us...much much sooner, the lesson here may be that
life is short and no one knows when their number is up, right? well
enjoy life and hug those you love and tell them you love them as
well!
We cannot control
that anymore than we can control anything else in life, its gonna
happen, its a gonna happen.
I do think it will
happen sooner than I first thought, and I do believe it will happen
around the time when we merge as a one world...that I am certain
of, can't say why but I do think that will end be so ugly, one
govt, one world that your be better off anyhow....

i
guess the topic is just beat to death here, oh well, I was
wondering and I can always google and find out more
later:)
I had this really
weird dream last night, I had company in my home, friends of my
husband who gave me very ill vibes, we all looked out into the sky
and seen golden keys coming down into the sky...
I turned to
someone and said, I knew this day would come, look this is it for
us...the answer is death maybe for us?
I then looked out
and seen five men in yellow jumpsuits demanding we leave our home,
and once we did, the house and everything in it, just up and poofed
away!
I had nothing, no
clothes, meds or anything, I was scared, then I was back into a
home but it was not our home, two men who seemed like predators
were there and they were feeding us some soup and seafood, I felt
vulnerable, their home was dirty and we were at their
mercy..
I was scared for
my child and for us, I had no idea what to do to protect us from
this...I felt as if I were trapped in this house now at the mercy
of these two men...
Then I woke up to
a thunder and lightning storm, thank good ness! I am wonder if my
nerves are on overload..worried bout the usa and us being taken
over and losing our home, and ourselves and in the process or maybe
its just a bad dream too...
Anyhow...I am a
huge believer that one day we will merge with others and then lose
our rights and freedoms and then everything else, I think its
coming soon, I do believe a forgein country wll take us over,
odumbo keeps putting us in more debt and we are in serious serious
trouble, but to be fair its not just him who did this...oh so many
more and its not just the libs who did this, its the reps
too...
We been had
people...when will most see it? probably when we are forced out of
our homes or worse.

Maybe
the oil disaster, will not call it a spill cause that name does not
fit the crime here, is the beginning of man made disasters to
come?
I have heard from
sources that said that when we are taken over, it will come from
the inside...meaning we will be destroyed from the inside
out...
Mmmm.
anyhow, time to
log off now!

Barefoot girl, watch "America:Freedom to Fascism" (fastforward
passed the stuff about the IRS if you are impatient to get to the
meat of it).
Then Watch the
interview with the priducer Aaron Ruso.
You are right,
"they" want to "take over" but it has been in plain
sight.
I am exhausted
trying to communicate here.

"I am
exhausted trying to communicate here."
lol! Been there
done this, there doin it! I've posted a few things more than once
as well, and it just gets skimmed over. Formerly, I think peoples
here are primarily interested in personal issues versus world
issues. This has been good for me, as it's teaching me to pay more
attention to myself and my personal life as I try to connect with
people.
I read what you
posted on the other thread, about the pressure being released and
then water going in- this will happen it's a certainty as there
will be a void to fill.
I wish I had more
time to discuss all this, I thrive on it. I'm just so bogged down
with work, it's all over my house now.
I for one do
appreciate the info you post. Just not much time to
respond.

This
is the first time formerly that you posted something to me...the
rest were me saying hi and being nice...
I am sorry you
feel ignored here...believe me*...I have posted many places and got
ignored as well..
I do not always
have something to say...but I try to always do my best to include
all..cause I also feel that way!

Formerly... I prolly seen it but will watch it again...I used
to do a lot of research on this...30 plus years... So to me...its
not a shock in the least...I know a lot. Most I would not post for
personal reasons... However I do like to talk to others who are
also awake and see it... Its interesting, its important and
knowledge is power:) Us little people in the world need to know
what's up....to be informed is very important... Russia is key
here...why we are at war with other countries is a mystery to
some...most buy it...from what I read lately and I will not post
anything I feel uncomfortable in doing...fyi...our enemy is not who
everyone thinks it is... Totally amazed me...but I am beginning to
see some very sophiscated tactics here and it really scares me!

I
keep hearing about the end of the world. I've heard it all my life.
My aunt is Mormon, and she has been preparing for some form af
Armaggedon or disaster for as long as I can remember. Nuiclear
bomb, Y2K. You should see her storage areas. areaS. I bet there's
no one that can do as many things with dried lentils as her. But
they keep changing the dates.
You know? I have
never feared or dreaded the end of the world, or death. I have
feared having a stroke and living that half-in, half-out kind of
life I watched my Nana live. I dread the thought of radiation and
the sickness that people have to endure before they die, or the
slow death of living in an ohterwise contaminated world.. I would
not like a Bataan death march. But death? Not afraid. It's over,
fini.
What do you reckon
people are afraid of with the literal end of the world? afterlife?
judgement?
So, I'm wondering
if the end of the world prediction is like a big bang end of the
world, or just the end of the world as we know it? If it's the end
of the world as we know it, what's the fear? The end of a comfort
zone? That we can't survive any other way than the one we know
right now?
Yeah, that's a
little scarier. I don't think I would be ready for a world without
technology. I sure wouldn't have a job. I've tried to learn some
basics - the stuff my Gramma did as a young bride. Like I said, I
been a learnin to make soap!! I been hangin my clothes to dry. I
made my own sausage from a wild hog the WranglerButt shot and
killed. I know how to make bread from scratch, and bake it in an
earthen oven, a hole dug in the side of a hill. I can fry
anythang!!! I need to learn to make my own pasta and grind my own
corn. Tortillas. Cornbread. Staples of the south and southwest. But
!!! What if the world as we know it comes to an end and there is no
internet? No tv?
That scares the
bejaysus outta me. For entertainment, I will have to start reading
books and having real conversations again. yikes. Will we all sit
around and just reminisce about the good old days? The best tv
shows we ever ever saw? Quelle horreur.

Civilisation means
a high level of cultural and techological development, cultural
characteristic of a particular time or place. (I checked Webster)
Civlisation can also mean a refiniment of thought manners,
taste.
I think of it as a
society with laws and social and religious mores that govern our
behaviour. a quick check to Wiki shows society means " A "society"
is an abstraction of a collection of relationships between
individuals, usually including distinctive cultural, economic, or
political properties and vary greatly in complexity and
scope."
By this
definition, homeless winos living under a viaduct, have formed a
society. If they designate someone their leader, always turning to
one or two for advice, etc., adhere to rules within the society -
for instance that everyone contribute to the community in some way
or another. e.g. , have little jobs, like somone dumpster dives
each day, some else collects the firewood, somone cuts it up,
someone starts the fire, someone cleans the ashes from the dead
fire, someone pickes up the bottles, etc etc. Even to an unspoken
agreement about seating arrangements around the fire, if they get
along well enough to continue to cohabitate, not kill each other -
then they are forming a small civilisation.
Webster's
definition of advanced technology echoes my concept of the world as
we know it. As we americans know it. There are civisations in third
world countries that do not benefit from the level of technology
that we do, but are civilisations, nonetheless. They are also
societies within those civilasations.
There are people
that live in the Grand Canyon, along with the native tribes. They
don't even have radio. There are some that do not consider that
civilsation. IT is considered living outside civilsation, because
there are none of the amenities that we enjoy. I imagine they would
get by better than I would, if the world as I know it ever
ceased.

I
think what really opened my eyes to a post apocalyptic world was
reading The Stand by King when I was 19. The apocalypse in this
case being a lethal flu that few were immune to. I had nightmares
about the isolation and feelings of hopelessness he
described.
I have made my own
sausage - woohoo-but I bought the seasonings at the Supercenter. I
ordered one of them online. I made one with the Cuisinart, and one
with an antique meat grinder, to see if they tasted different.
(Everyone swore the hand grinded one was better). I did all this in
my heated, electrically lit kitchen, with the television on. I
didn't want to miss Grey's Anatomy. We ate it outside one night
with the stereo plugged in, and the lights on over the arbor. I
made butter one day, but I didn't milk the cow or skim the cream. I
do know how, but the store was right there!!!
In The Stand,
after everyone with the superflu died, there were stores, but they
were locked until someone broke a window and climbed in. The meat,
milk and cheese was spoiled, of course, because there was no
electricity. They had to be careful of what they picked to eat, or
they could die. They had to figure out how to vent into the gas
pumps, so they could travel by car or cycles. Luckily, they could
get lighters (to start fires) from the stores. Clothes were no
problem - there for the taking. When they went to different town,
they picked a house they liked, removed the dead bodies, and moved
in. He touched on how addicts and alcoholics were affected by the
world as they knew it stopping. Made you wonder what would happen
to people when there were no longer any drugs manufactured.
(insulin, metformin for diabetics, xanax for anxiety.....) Free
alcohol sitting in stores, no heroin coming across the border. He
had one character hooked on prescription pain killers, trying to
walk out of NYC, because the streets were jammed with cars with
drivers dead at the wheel. She intentionally overdosed.
That book really
made me think. What would I do? The economy freaks me out. There
are people here that are getting their trailers repossessed,
and living in their steel buildings - workshops. The people across
the road have never had power. They have a back up generator, but
they rarely use it. I know where my candles and lighters are, but I
don't have a back-up generator. There's a creek that runs through
WranglerButt's property, so, without electricity, that's a way to
keep things cool for a day or so, in the six months of summer we
have here. You would have to have watertight containers. I spose it
could do for bathing, should running water ever become an issue.
There are fish in it, and in the lake a couple miles from his
house. There's plenty of game that runs through it. I should get a
copy of a recipe for hasenpfeffer and squirrel stew before there is
no internet. Learn how to tan hides, so I could barter leather -
snakeskin belts.....
The thrust of The
Stand was that without all the external clutter of the world as we
know it - the clutter of noise, traffic in the air, on the streets,
radio waves, hum and physical effects of electricity, the survivors
became more psychic. Their minds were less cluttered, and they were
able to telepathically communicate over many miles. Their
collective consciousness was heightened. I wonder if it's really
like that.
Oh yeah and
another thrust was that good (energy) always wins.
But even some of
the good people didn't make it. The strong survive and the weak are
winnowed out.

the
Stand- by Stephen King. One of the best books I've ever read! Many
of the good people didn't make it because they were part of a
whole. It was not an individual battle as we often make life and
existence out to be.
Dang it bevdee,
you've got that song running through my head
"It's the end of
the world as we know it, and I feel fine!"
Might not feel so
great pretty soon, though......

I
think that it is coming. Maybe I thought that before-- like on
(9/11) but I don't remember.
There are videos
about it on youtube. But I see it from a different perspective than
the fictional King book. If that is a movie, I will have to see it.
It sounds interesting.
I think that I
will be one of the ones who doesn't make it. I am too defeated, and
I don't have a reason to hang on and fight anymore. I know that God
has more in store, and I would rather just go there.
