I'm sorry you are grumpy! Anything I can do to make it a better day? How about if I make you a strawberry shortcake with whipped cream on top?? Maybe some chocolate shavings sprinkled over it too? hmm? Sound good?

((( Zinnie )))

Hope your day gets better!

Juanita

Well after dealing with my &*^%$#@&(^*@@$%^ insurance company all morning - I'm thinking more along the line of a stiff drink - but, since I don't drink, I will have to suffice it with food.

I'm serious... this is pure bullshit! I mean, O.K., fine, yes, I can afford the medications that have been prescribed to me - but, if I have to pay for them out of pocket, why in the hell am I paying over a thousand dollars a month for insurance coverage? The meds are not on my "pharmacy formulary" so... for my blood pressure medication, that is $300.00. Then Cymbalta is not covered, that is $275.00. The specialist called in hormones for me - guess what? They are not on my forumlary, so that is another $285.00. I called the Dr.'s office and said "look, they are not covering the Cymbalta without pre-authorization." She replies "well, why did he give you that?" Well, hell, if I KNEW that... perhaps I would be the Dr.! I told her "hum, really don't know, guess you need to ask your boss why he prescribes these things?"

They want to know why people are not taking their medications? Because they cannot afford them! I have told tons of people how to call the prescription companies and get their meds for free because they do not have insurance coverage. I never thought about doing it myself - because even though I have insurance, they don't cover anything.

What a crock.

Sending you all my best positive vibes for your surgery today. Praying for much success, and a speedy recovery.

Here is a virtual quilt to keep you warm and snuggly while recovering...
It is made of all the loving and caring thoughts your family and friends send to you. You have warm velvets, soft and shiny satins, home spun cottons, rich brocades, and oodles of color gallore! The needle work on top is intricate, delicate, and beautiful. Everyone has tied in together to make a masterpiece for you. I even see some doggie paw prints zipping across a few panels!

Much love to you my friend!

Thanks all,

I had the first part of the surgery yesterday. I had four tumors removed by laser from the inside of the vaginal wall.

I'm in pain from the surgery itself, but, at least I am at home resting.

I thank all of you for your warm thoughts.

Love,

Z.

Hi Z (((Z)))

I'm sorry you missed their baptism. What an honor to be a Godmother.

What happens now that the surgery is over? what kind of cancer is this?

Hey Free,

Thanks for the thoughts! I have missed talking with you ((((((FREE)))))

This is still stemming from the original uterine/ovarian diagnosis - during with a tumor ruptured and metastsized (sp? - I'm tired and it's late) - so this is still the constant battle. In all honestly, they have not given this a definitive answer - just "female related." However, the next thing is they are going to drop a camera in on 7/5/07 and to some exploration. After that they will make a decision whether to do the next part either laproscopicly, or have to cut me open. I'm beginning to feel like a pin cushion for lack of a better word.

But... I have to look at it this way - this is my oldest brothrs take of me and the whole situation. The devil does not want me to die, because I would make him repent, and God is not ready for an assistant manager - so here I am.

I hate to make this so short, but, I'm exhausted! So, I will talk to you later.

Take care my friend.

Much love,

Z.

I've missed talking to you too Z!

I hope they are managing pain well. If they performed a hysterectomy, wouldn't that stop this?

Wishing the best for you z!

Zinnie,

I, for one, am very happy that neither Heaven nor Hell are ready for you. It is our fortune to have you around. I am sorry you hurt so and have to endure all these surgeries and treatments, but perhaps knowing that you have friends and family who appreciate your being here makes it a little easier for you. You have made my day better so many times... hopefully, I can do a little of the same for you.

Glad you are here!!!

Well, if someone would like to volunteer taking care of my two dogs - well, one of them anyway. LOUD, believe it or not is well behaved. He knows I don't feel well, so he is "chillin'" with Mom. The puppy? Little Bee thinks that I am here soley to play and entertain her! She has brought me all of her plushy toys, bopped me in the face with her latex worm, played tag with my ear, and then? Stood on my head and barked at... I don't know what.

Anyway, gotta love them.

Free, I did have a hysterectomy. The problem is that some of the tumors metatestazied and now I have problems everywhere. Such is life!

Love,

Z.

Hi z

Even though they're not well behaved, we sure still love them don't we?

Mine's a Lhaso Opso/Sheltie mix and he's great with family members, but acts like he's gonna eat anybody else. It's almost sport to him. And, he comes when he wants to. I sure love this puppy (well, he's not really apuppy anymore, but always will be in my eyes)
