Yesterday, I got a bit carried away with politics here. I was trying to be logical and detached about it, but it seems to be an explosive subject on this site, so I'm taking a break from the subject. The discussions I got involved with generated more heat than light, and I'm sorry if I stepped on anybody's toes.
We all have our own political beliefs, but it doesn't seem to do much good to try to talk about them here.

I think you are right to stay out of the political discussion for a while. i never write them but I enjoy reading them. I hope you visit the support threads my is called personality disorder.
