Tumbleweed - You're a LEO! Well then, the Artist's Scetchbook magazine must've been a real tonic for you...for Leo's are very artistically inclined people, and I just couldn't help but feel your enthusiasm....a little encouragement can do wonders, and you've certainly reached a stage, perhaps a turning point in your journey where you may be ready now, to see the open windows....and I hope you find some time today to put in the practice of integrating the personally satisfying and creative 'habit' of creative expression, into your life.

Leos are also 'loaded' with virtuous traits - and as well as being sentimental, they are very gracious and deeply compassionate, with nobleness of purpose, generous and with much to offer, natural organisers having leadership potential, courageous, protective of loved ones, magnanimus and more....:) I've always found Leos make very warmhearted and loyal friends, their exuberance can be so uplifting and they're simply fascinating conversationalists, intelligent, interesting, inspiring, and deserving of respect. My two lovely friendships with Leo ladies have been always mutually caring and supportive, definitely intellectually stimulating....and lots of fun. Unfortunately, it just didn't work out so well in my two male relationships. One I was actually married to, and the other I was going to marry - even with all their fine qualities though, they could not contain their need to Dominate. Protectiveness and leadership gone OTT - they just would not stop. My other major relationship with the opposite sex went that way as well! So obviously this Taurus lady has got to set firmer boundaries ...specially with men.

Naturally, we all have our not so aspects....none of us are perfect - but for the life of me...I just can't remember any of them! 🙂 Linda Goodman says, "A Taurus female is a 'tall' woman, even if she measures under five feet, she can reach tall enough to meat almost any emergency life chooses to throw her way." As courageously demonstated by your grandaughter, Tumbleweed, and I am very so sorry to hear of her Turner's disease. We Taureans don't usually complain and don't mind working hard, usually deriving a sense of sensual satisfaction when doing it with some degree of pride. We make loyal friends too, being gracious, patient, practical, reliable, genuine, and are creative, artistic, and more besides :):)

Did you enjoy listening to Dr.Turi on Coast To Coast this week, Tumbleweed? I've read some more about the Nostradamus teachings and I can understand a little better now, how he could make predictions by using astrology. This is quite a fascinating subject, and he does deserve credit for what he achieved in his main forte. Although Dr.Turi is also making many predictions, it does seem as though he's being rather general and vague - which still leaves me with some skeptisism at this stage....which is still early in the piece anyway.

However Tumbleweed, it still could prove to be very interesting, expansively rewarding and bring much enlightenment. I'm predicting you'll learn much through it and I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know how you find it to be and how you're getting on.

There now Tumbleweed, that'll just have to be it from me for now. As always, I'm hoping all's going well, and urge You to keep making the effort to put in some practise and a give it that certain ammount of time to adjust. Take Care & BBFN

Hi all, Ty, La Rosa. I was so sure I was going to devote at least 15 min. to something creative, but now 2 days have passed and I have not done it yet. However, I feel I must make a start at it so I may get to it yet today. Dr. Turi's teachings are unique even though he studied all about Nostradamus's work. He developed his own monthly housing system. Yes, his predictions go by either the supernova windows which he gives on his site and also in his Moonpower I read, it goes for a few days rather than the daily horoscope although he also has that on his site, I think. The other thing he uses for predictions is the dragon's head and tail, also known as the north and south moon nodes. The partial chart he did for me shows I could succeed at this. It is slow for me though because I can't afford to go on a course and get all this at once, but that is also better for me because I can take my time and just pay for each part of the course as I can. I have to be able to pass by answering questions when I'm ready to be considered an Astropsychologist. He will be on the radio here at 1 a.m. which will be Sat. morning here. So, I must stay awake and probably tape that portion of the C to C show. I've been running and doing errands today so might have to drink something with caffeine to stay awake, will see. Because of having the tail of the dragon in Cancer, for me, I'm not as boisterous as some Leos are though I can get very excited over things like when I went to college for classes and things like this course. For those things I can jump up and down, but I'm not a loud talking or laughing person like some Leos are, but it depends on other factors involved for all of us, I guess. I also did not make it with a Taurean fellow partly because the timing of everything wasn't right. Also, the attitude in which he would talk to me, but amazingly for about 40 years we've stayed in touch by phone calls and letters or cards. He is very down to earth, still works hard and always tries to own something for himself if only some land somewhere. Yes, I see you understand my granddaughter very well. I'm happy for her that she is how she is. Will check in later as I still have some things to put away here and get some lunch or something put together. Love and Hugs to you and all.

Hi Tumbleweed,

Yes, I know it can be very tricky business, trying to get a new habit established, when there are already other things changing at the same time. So here's a suggestion you may want to consider. OK?

The main purpose is to incorporate a ammount certain of time for 'creative expression', on a regular basis, into your life. Now, to actually do that - there's no real need to feel that you 'have to' do it EVERYday....when every other day is still a healthy, consistent pattern. It may help to just take some of the PRESSURE off yourself, and concentrate more on the PLEASURE it is going to bring you. You're really looking forward to it - just as you did when you felt so enthusiastic and probably wanted to start right away - or as soon as. It may even add heaps to nurturing your 'ceative flow'. Just like when you do your course WHEN you want to - get into the habit of doing this WHEN you WANT to....having it in your mind that you DO want to ENJOY it often... but not EVERYday to start with and maybe not EVER EVERYday, but whatever and whenever you feel is comfortable for YOU. Kinda loosen up a bit and crawl before you run.:) You are doing real good - don't forget it, OK? I think it's called keeping your options open - and this way you DO give yourself more of them....or it may be called 'abundance thinking'. You can suit yourself, 'how' you'd like to integrate this into YOUR life. Well, just have a little think about it, and see what You come up with. Take Care & See You Soon BBFN

Hi all, Ty La Rosa. Yes, I see that again I had it all figured out how I was going to do this creative thing right down to what it was going to be, but creativity should be more spontaneous than that which on some level I know. You are right, I need to ease up with that and a lot of things. Same with the course, my plan was to get the necessary tapes each and every month and answer the questions on the test as I went along, each one completely. I already figured within one year, I'd have it all plus my passing grade. It might have been a good plan, but already some of the questions are only partially answered because I need more info which means I need to devote more time to it than I have been lately. Also, there are other things which need to be taken care of financially and some things like necessary vitamins etc. which I didn't allow for can cause me to fall behind a month here and there. If I deprive myself of too many things, I begin to feel the consequences. I was able to hear him on the radio last night. The main message I got from it was we need to replace every negative thought with something positive no matter what our situation is. The prediction info is on his site and the dates he gives for this month or anytime we have to allow 48 hrs. before or after those dates as the time frame. We are still in a negative super nova window, also, which lasts for one month which will take in most of this month. So, I need to go do some reading on his site again, have gotten behind with that lately. Wishing you and all a good weekend. 🙂

Thank You Tumbleweed,

This weekend is going well...a real eye opener. You know Tumbleweed, when you were talking about doing 'it' for a small ammount of time everyday.... initially, I was going along, saying to myself, "Yes. Yes. Yes." and it seemed like the most logical, practical and beneficial way to approach 'it'. After all - it was such a small ammount of time and effort being asked for. etc etc That's exactly how I would be thinking....and then I'd be putting myself down when it didn't eventuate. Been there done that, I couldn't tell you 'how' many times. I put it in the catagory of 'error' thinking, that just slips in when you don't need it, and certainly do not see it coming, or how dangerous it can be. It's through these unnecessary 'errors' that we make things tough for ourselves when there's no need to...without even being aware of it.

Probably because I'm feeling myself becoming more aware of how easy it is to slip up...or going into a vague self-distruct mode...right when it's time to be holding on to (at least not going backwards), what has alredy been meritoriously achieved to date. Well Tumbleweed, as I've been focusing on some of the pitfalls that can emerge....like yourself, sometimes when you already REALISE something, it's almost as though we will not allow ourselves to accept what we are already well aware of... I've been there and done that, I do not know 'how' many times. Maybe sometimes we just get excited at how very attainable something is for us to achieve...that we jump into a learned reaction of 'seting ourselves up'. That's WHY all the concentration on picking up on those frustrating 'little' 'errors' of thinking, as they surface - and getting into the 'habit' of wiping them out. I know you appreciate just 'how' destructive they can be.

Until you can get more information from Dr.Turi, who's on the same wavelength also, concerning eliminating these negativities that creep in....until then, just realise, that while you're still working on yourself - it's being complimentary to any other work you're doing on YOU. This may be a time, when you may prefer to consider 'holding on to' and 'consolidating' the progress you've made....and your achievements. A time for some reflection and a little caution, seeing as how we're still in a negative super nova window for most of this month.

Sorry it takes me quite a long time to get back to you at times.....but I am practising on it - 🙂 - and taking in what you've written. There's an article I found, that although you will already know what it means already...it may be good for you to read...for some peace of mind. I'll send it to you a little later on today...and as soon as. time here is ...3:32pm Sun, 5th Nov.

Hi all, Ty La Rosa. Yes, what you're saying is so true. I was amazed at first to think there actually was a way for me to take the course and so I was very excited. Then I got distracted with other things and got off track after I was spending about 5 hrs. a day studying. It is hard for me to believe how difficult it is to get back on track again. Its like where did all my enthusiasm go again? I so don't want it to just be another thing I've started and then not finish it. Story of my life, it seems. I can see that if I do eventually pass the test, I can even make money with this knowledge. And the more one knows, the better, of course. Still trying to get some rest here, don't know what is good when one has trouble sleeping. I know you mentioned that, too. I try my teas, sometimes milk and different things and then sometimes nothing seems to help, reading maybe. I've ordered my Nutri Calm to take which has B vitamins and valerian in thinking maybe that will help. Will check in later. Hugs to you and all.

Manifestation is what we do naturally

- by Mark Slattery.

Manifestation is what we do naturally
and it shows up in all facets of our lives, whether we realise it or not.

When you're inspired or not inspired, you create it. If you could look back at a record of all the things that you thought or felt on a subject, you could probably identify what thoughts and feelings created the results that you are experiencing now.

It is possible to start to do this more consciously, and link these results to what you were thinking and feeling.

Start small and look at things that are in your life, and think for a moment what thoughts and feelings you have had in that area. Interesting!

In the beginning it can seem a little vague, as you start to put together the puzzle and remember thoughts and feelings that would make sense to have created that result, but you are unsure. As you practise this skill you become clearer and clearer as to the connections.

Often it is unconscious thoughts that control the creation of things, but if you watch your thoughts and feelings you will normally notice their presence and content.

They may be following your positive thoughts or they may just be recurring limiting thoughts, created a long time ago, either way, just give them no notice for now and continue to think the thoughts and feelings of what you want.

When you think about the things that you want, do your best to feel good about those things, as this lifts your vibration closer to achieving those things.

If you feel negative thoughts or feelings, just realise what they are and bring your focus back to feeling good about what you want. Negative feelings have little power if you do not dwell on them or give them energy.

As your positive focus on what you want continues, power starts to build in that direction and energy starts to flow, to create those things. This is a natural process.

So focus on what you want and feel good about it. This raises the vibration of your energy towards beautiful things.

If you start to feel bad, at any stage, just realise that your focus has shifted to some old pattern or thought, and gently bring it back to what you would like to think about and feel.

Allow the energy to build until what you want is delivered. Be open for things that excite you, as they may be the beginning steps of the delivery.

Be gentle with yourself in the beginning, as it can take some time to build new habits, and your thoughts may drift without noticing. Consistent self loving effort will bring great results and change your life.

Enjoy your manifestations!

Hi Tumbleweed,

Without getting enough good sleep you can understandably be putting yourself at risk of slipping into 'error' type mode....just be aware when or if it happens, not to give it the energy it's looking for.

The Nutri-Calm sounds like it would really help a lot, and with the B's and valerian included, make it sound as though it should be very helpful. If you have it last thing at night while reading for a while in bed, it's a good habit to get into 'cause as you're reading, you're giving yourself time to unwind, while mentally preparing yourself for a good sleep. I'm all out of chocolate 'Complan' or 'Ensure Plus' (vitamin suppliment drinks) that help me.... and I'm feeling the effects. It takes longer to think clearly and get it all together in a way that does the thought justice. I do have some High Potency B vitamins (Ultra B) that I've been neglecting to take, and will take one tonight. Thank You for reminding me Tumbleweed. Yes, we mustn't forget our health as top priority.

The address that has some good articles about manifestation and the law of attraction is.....

...and the link is in the middle of the third column on the word 'attraction'.

Take Care Tumbleweed & Hope you get a good sleep soon.

Hi all, Ty for all the info, La Rosa. I will look up those sites along with some others I have here to look up. I keep writing them down and by now have a list of them. I saw the one on here about sleep disorders, shuteye.com, which I want to check out, too. I just don't want to get into any medical type things because occasionally I'll take a half tylenol or something similar for sleep, but then I wake up with a headache most times. Same thing when I tried melatonin. Maybe it was not the right kind of melatonin though. It was inexpensive, 300 mcg's so I don't know if it was the kind or the dosage, but I don't take it now. Sometimes I think I could get a lot done at night when I'm having trouble sleeping, but I don't want to mix my days and nights. Hoping the valerian with the B vitamins will do better. I was selling Nature's Sunshine Prod. which has the Nutri Calm. I occasionally still sell the products and had an order for my son so I included this, too. However, his daughter is nervous and I think these would really help her so I mentioned them to her, hope she will be interested because she is like me, does not eat very much meat and then one needs Vitamin B 12 etc. to compensate somewhat for that if they're not eating right. I try to eat cottage cheese, yogurt, nuts, beans and other sources of protein in soy products etc. but I don't think she does that. Z, if you're reading, I'm going to try the caramel apple dip today. Hope I'll like it as I found a sugarless one. Later. Love, TW

Hi Tumbleweed,

shuteye.com could be offering a free trial on sleep aids for those in US at the moment. It offers some sound advise and other information too.. I also had a little look at the Natures Sunshine Products that you sometimes sell - and the Nutri Calm does seem like a very good choice and probably just the right thing you're after. It seems your grandaughter would be better off for taking your advise, and compensating for her lack of not having much meat in her diet, and very nice to see that You're taking care of yourself in that way Tumbleweed. As far as not sleeping well though, there was once when I couldn't sleep at all - I wasn't well and it brought on extreme stress - the doctor prescibed that I take 'diazapam' at night for a week, and I must say that I felt a whole lot better for it....and then got back into a regular sleeping pattern again. There are certain times when something stronger to help sleep can be very appropriate and satisfactory. Sometimes though, just getting into the habit of losing track of time at night, including 'when' it's bedtime, really upsetting the body clock if we don't get it clear in our mind...that there's a big difference between the odd night here or there compared with most nights, getting to sleep too late. Yes, the need to form a healthy sleep routine that our body can become accustomed to...will thank us for taking the time to sleep. There are just far too many side effects, to let it go on for too long. Yes, I can see that I too, Tumbleweed, am going to have to be more serious about improving my own sleeping pattern as well. Last night I was reading about a relaxation exercise that predominantly concentrated on relaxing face muscles, relaxing the jaw etc...and actually made me realise just how tired I really was, after only thinking about it....and as soon as I find it again, I'll send it on to you.

As Mark Slattery said in his article, "Be gentle with yourself in the beginning, as it can take some time to build new habits, and your thoughts may drift without noticing. Consistant self loving effort will bring great results and change your life." Take Care.

Hi all, After reading your post, another thought came to me that I have not been listening to my relaxation tapes which sometimes help. I will have to get back to that again as it goes on the same principle of letting everything relax one thing at a time. Instead, I've been listening to the radio programs I like at night. Finally turned off the radio after 3 a.m. Not good, I know, but if I'm not listening to something the next best thing is to read for me. I watched the program about Windsor Castle on tv yesterday. Saw part of it before and the other part I'd missed this time. Nice to have a look at how life goes there. Hope all is going well for you there, La Rosa. Z, the caramel dip was delicious, just made enough for one apple I'd sliced with the peeling on.
Later.

Hi All,

Just Zinning (that is kind of like zipping, but with a Zinnie twist:) - by and wanted to say hello!

I have been busy, busy, busy, busy. Right now, though - I am enjoying a little bit of down time and visiting with my very pregnant sister. She is due on Christmas Day and looks simply amazing!

As we all know, I have the little red LOUD dog, she has the HUGE RED quiet DOG! Her red dog is 180 lbs! And is a gentle giant. So very different than LOUD and his crazy exhuberant ways.

Tumbles, I am so glad that you tried and enjoyed the carmel dip! Did you add the honey to it? It really makes a wonderful snack. You know another thing that I have done? I have made an apple cake, served warm with some vanilla ice cream - and then drizzle the "dip" over it... OMG!!! Talk about decadent!!!!!

So, while I have been crazt busy, I see that you two have been keeping busy - talking, discussing and learning - all the while enjoying the little red LOUD dogs company.

I'm so happy to see both of you here...

Love,

Z.

The little red LOUD dog leaps up with joy...

In all of his excitement to see his two favorite friends - he completely forget what he has been meaning to tell them!

"My friends!" he SHOUTS in his silly voice... you both missed out on the last fairy tail (yes, I know he spells it like that!) - where I revealed my true name!

Would you like to hear it? Or do you want to try to guess it? It is rather magnificent, as he himself is. He begins to bounce in anticipation of the answers from his two beautiful friends....

Good Morning All, Good to see you again, Z and LOUD. So, LOUD has another name? Prince Charles comes to mind, guess I'm still thinking about the Windsor. Maybe it is Prince Charming? What do you think, La Rosa?

Well....whatever could our LOUD little friend be called?... that is rather appropriately magnificent, just like Him? How about - the little Lord of LOUD?? or maybe....little ONE and only LOUD? ONEderful LOUD or LOTSA LOUD?? I can see I'm a just a little bit HOOKED ON LOUD!!! Mmmmmmm

So glad to see you're taking a little time out Zinnie. You need to be gentle with yourself too....and all my best regards to your sister. Tumbleweed, I hope the relaxation excercises will prove to be a good help....and I'm still looking for the facial one. 🙂 Until later then it's Bye Bye For Now - Take Care and...

Nice To See You All Again

That is soo good to hear Tumbleweed - that Nutri Calm has already provided some beneficial effects. I just had it in my mind that you were taking it at bedtime....sorry about that...the main thing of course is that it IS helping you. Another good step in the right direction. I'd just like you to know Tumbleweed, that I've been wondering how you've been coping with SHYNESS. I know you've been reading the book and that you can identify with certain people in it...and I'd meant to ask you about it sooner, incase you had wanted some feedback. I've not experienced shyness myself, but have coped with certain social inhibitions - having felt how it can disturb one's life.

I'm a bit run down just now. My eyes are strained and swollen and I still need to establish better sleeping patterns. It's actually an infection that I thought had cleared up, and it is fortunate that I already have the Livostine and Fucithalmic eyedrops. I'll get a good sleep tonight...and at a much earlier time than usual.

LOUD is behaving himself just beautifully, Zinnie, and has been an absolute darling and perfect guest. I'm sure you're already well aware of little LOUD's highly developed social graces and impeccable manners.... and LOUD is always more than welcome to stay over. Hoping all is well with all of you - and see you soon. TC

Hi all, including LOUD, of course. La Rosa, I hope you're feeling better by now. Z, the Nutri Calm is a product I sell through Nature's Sunshine Prod. which I think La Rosa looked up about on the web, right. It has B vit. C and Valerian in it and is for the nervous system. Since I started taking it which has only been a couple of days, I noticed right away that I had more energy to do things during the day and that I've been sleeping better at night. It has also picked up my mood, so far, anyway. A friend I used to correspond with who also sells the products told me she had taken them for years, but this is the first time I'm trying these. Hugs all.

Yes, I'm reading the book, Shyness, What it is, What to do about it by Philip G. Zimbardo who taught at Stanford and has a website about different studies which were done there. Copyright 1977 so it is an older book I read when taking college communication courses and identified with much of what I read in it then. It had a different cover on the book then which was the first thing I identified with and I did a report on it at the time. The author's name and Stanford studies were mentioned on the C/A thread so I decided to read this again. I don't so much want to go back to how shy I was in school and how I was ridiculed and excluded there and later on my jobs and the abuse in my relationships, but I do think there must be a way I can appear more confident so that hopefully, I will not be a victim of abuse again. I have learned a lot on the C/A thread as well as on this site and I do know to say no to people who talk down to me and have nothing more to do with them. Also, though, I isolate myself partly because of circumstances beyond my control at this time and also because I just don't want to deal with this anymore. I never was a people person so to speak. I was raised with the animals on the farm being my friends and only one lifelong friend from school and still I haven't had that much interaction with people, not really. I went to my jobs and did my work. I was treated with respect though when I took the college courses later in life, ran the track there and joined the non traditional student's club there, but of course there still wasn't the interaction had I been able to attend college after high school. Though it wouldn't have mattered probably. Now, I have been learning to enjoy being alone without all those hassles. I don't want to put myself out there anymore. Hugs. 🙂
