Pscyho is as Pscyho does wd.

To name psycho deeds as pscyho deeds is not not name calling--it is called taking responsibility.

Ummm,

So I am psycho because I believe that certain acts are "evil?"

Free, the GOP has built it's success on calling people "Evil."

"The Axis of Evil."

And they have leaned heavily on the language of religion--Jesus and Satan to do so.

Gay Marriage.

Abortion Rights.

The need to kill evil foreigners.

That's the popular GOP platform Free. And it is largely based on religious formulations of concepts of "good" versus "evil."

By your reasoning the GOP would therefore be "the party of psycho."

But when I turn it around and say that using weapons purchased with my tax dollars to kill over 100,000 women and children is "evil" that makes me "psycho?"

We have spent as much money on Iraq, which posed ZERO threat to us as we did during the whole of world war two to defeat Hitler and Japan, who endangered the entire world.

And we were tricked into spending that money.

I think that not only counts as "evil,"but is just plain nuts. That makes me psycho?

I would spank you Free.

But I suspect you would enjoy it.

And although I am not usually into that sort of thing, in this case I am afraid I would enjoy it. Very much.

America just can't take that chance.

Hi Free,

I do agree that there is at least one minority in the current administration. Although beyond Condoleeza.....which all by herself fills the minority quota (black and female), I can't think of another one at the moment. I'm not saying there isn't another one....just that I can't think of one at the moment.

George Bush.....white, christian, wealthy

Dick Chaney....white, christian, wealthy

Donald Rumsfeld...white, christian, wealthy

John Ashcroft....white, christian, wealthy

Not sure if the last one is still around...but you get my point.

Finally, Colin Powell.....ever wonder WHY he doesn't want to take the Republican ticket? Or why it was he stepped down as Secretary of State in the first place?

I don't know the answers to those questions but I'd sure be interested in knowing.

Lolli

p.s. Just for the record....I haven't been offended by anything you've written. As a matter of fact...I found the whole satanic thing kinda funny.

Like I always say....we are all entitled to our opinions and I respect you for having yours...even if we don't agree.

Actually, the phrase "Axis of Evil" was coined by Bush speechwriter David Frum and first used by Bush in his 2002 State iof the Union Address.

It is related to the phrase "Evil Empire" which was used by Ronald Reagan to describe the Soviet Union.

Are we talking a barehanded spanking or do I get to use one of those little paddles that you can bounce rubber balls with rubber bands attached?

Hi Free,

I had too many paddle spankings when I was in grade school.

It would pretty much have to be a bare handed spanking.

That reminds me of something I have to ask the women in the "thread that dare not speak its name" now playing in a thread near you.

It is about the strange tension that occurs when people who have affection for each other also have intense conflict. It can almost feel erotic. I hate having those kinds of feelings about AAC people.

Anyway, I guess, I have to interpret the spanking thing as a kind of calling of "Pax" by you. There's the humor angle, the provacative imagery of adults spanking each other, with all that evokes, and then there is just the plain surrealism of it.

Spanking-wise...tell ya what.

If you want a spanking, and think you somehow need it or deserve it, talk to your husband. Tell him "I've been a bad girl" and convince him.

Politics-wsie, I'll tell you what.

If The President is impeached, maybe convicted of treason and crimes against humanity, I will vote against smearing him with honey and dropping his naked ass in Iraq. I'll even vote against sending him to Guantanamo.

If we get to spank him. Barehanded. On television. One swat for every American soldier who died in Iraq.

Then justice will have been done.

What's a calling of a pax? I love erotic feelings. they're only bad if you act on them physically wd. did I get in your bubble?

dems are up by 2 seats in the house.

ah, the president won't be impeached. They said that about Clinton, and REagan, and who else?
I dunno. it's old.

It's swinging back left, and it's not gonna stop doing that tonight. You'll get your dem president wd.

Free,

Yes Free, you got inside my bubble.

You totally derailed my self-righteous political-moral diatribe(which I was really enjoying, btw)by intoducing this absurd bit of semi-kinky erotic imagery, which dovetailed into the intensity of our conflict.

And it was funny.

And damned if I didn't want to give you a spanking. Which totally distracted me from my next barrage of lovely rhetoric and carefully selcted links and references.

That wasn't fair.

It is really hard for me to laugh and engage in conflict at the same time.

And it is really hard for me to...well, the .....welll....

It has been my discipline to avoid man-woman feelings with online people. Especially erotic feelings.

That does bring up the topic of how it is possible to argue that there is an etymological connection between the words "violence" and "vitality."

But everyone here knows that it is possible to stop me with humor and stop me with anything resembling affection.

God knows what the connection between spanking and affection might be.

Besides the fact that my fiancee wanted me to spank her, and that sort of...confused me.

Well, you have made a breakout thread neccesary maybe.

And you stopped me.

You used some kind of woman technology on me. It disarms my political rhetoric machines. And those are some of my best machines. Very unfair.

Yep.

Pax. You win.

I don't know how to or know if it is appropriate to allow frankly erotic energy to work in conversations here.

I do know that it...stops me.

I can't even function here if someone compliments me too hard here.

It just makes me stop.

I don't know how to explain it.

Juanita?

SewUnique?

SC?

Somone?

wd

I am really sorry if I upset you.

It was play. Had a few to drink, and it was play.

There was no woman technology. Just play.

Your political rhetoric with the satan thing ruffles my feathers, I felt ignored on that front, and I got tired of being angry and bugged. So I chose to play with it. You started playing too, so I played right along beside you. Or maybe you beside me.

When I get like that, anything anybody says is so dang funny to me. I don't know why, but it is, and I laughed so hard.

Thank you, wd, for playing with me.

Feeling erotic is okay wd. It's natural, and okay. It's not like I'm gonna pop through the screen and show up in your living room. Gosh, that's the stuff nightmares are made of.

I sincerely did not mean to get in your bubble.

I'm not sure what else to say, now I'm feeling a little awkward. Like oops! Didn't mean to convey the "uh-oh" feeling.

I needed to eat dinner, and we ate late.

ah, enough excuses.

I got rowdy.

Look, Free:

Between me and you, I think of you as a single issue candidate.

And my constituency with you revolves around a single issue.

That issue is not international terrorism.

The Issue is Domestic Terrorism.

The Issue is Domestic Violence.

That is THE issue where you have won a huge piece of my heart.

I want child and adult victims of domestic violence to be vindicatedsaved, rescued, saved, healed, and empowered.

And I want batterers to be held accountable, neutralized...healed, if possible...

Mostly, I want batterers to be exposed and I want the worst of them them to fry. Legally speaking. I want them to be disempowered. Because batterers, by definition, abuse their power.

Free:

I don't understand you, and I do not understand your politics.

But if you promise to continue your previous self-evident mission of empowering, educating, helping, adult and child victims of DV, then you get 3/4 of my vote.

And if you would then promise to continue the mission of exposing and holding accountable batterers, then that would be better. I mean the male and also the female batterers, of course.

I suppose that a few batterers are help-able. That's a nice fantasy. I wish that could happen. I wish they could be helped or healed or changed or reformed. For the minority of Abusers who can and want to be changed, I would love that.

For the rest, I want the fuckers to be burnt at the stake.

Metaphorically, of course.

Do that for me, Free. Promise to use your powers and your intellect to making that happen Free.

And then I can let you have the rest.

Protect the children, Free.

And burn the child abusers at the stake.

I don't think I am asking too much here.

That is my peace treaty with you.

The child abusers have to burn at the stake.

Metaphorically.

My politics are actually easy to understand.

Here's a big clue. these are the things I'm celebrating.

Independents gained a seat. yay!

Arnold is governor of California again- by a landslide-why? Kuz he brought the two parties together and got shit done. A republican governor of one of the most liberal states in the union. Wish he could be president.

Independents gained a seat. yay!

Congressional gridlock is OVER. Dems finally found some conservative dems and took the house. they've gained 25 seats so far. These are dems who can work with a president such as Bush, not extreme fanatics. Liberal pubs would have been fine, too, but the pubs didn't put them up. There are things like immigration reform that Bush can't get done kuz of congressional gridlock caused by his own party. I don't understand the Hillary sweep though- she voted for this war and has provided much support for Bush- I thought this would be to her detriment. I'm sure she'll be rethinking her position as the voters have made it clear that they're not happy with current policy regarding this war.

Independents gained a seat! yay!

You don't understand my politics kuz they're not party affiliated, but issue affiliated.

Single issue candidate? me? wd, if I had the answer to the problem of domestic violence, I'd make alot more money than I do.
