My man will not leave me alone. I cant let him know I am on any sight where I interact with the outside world. He thinks I am playing solitare. I wish he would leave me alone. Walks in and out in and out, as if I dont know he is checking up on me. Boy am I glad I found this sight, if not I would have no one to talk to.

mamac...I can sure relate to that. My ex used to open my mail, check my email, listen to my phone conversations, check the caller ID on the phone when I was talking on it to see who it was, look over my shoulder when I was on the computer...he didn't trust me at all and constantly checked up on me. I am sorry he doesn't trust you. It is a horrible feeling when someone doesn't trust you, espcially when they have no reason not to...

mamac,

I'm sorry to hear that. Some people are controlling, and it sure makes you feel small, doesn't it?

Mama,

So make it so again. Sounds like you did it once before, you now have experience, you can do it again easier than before b/c you know what to do.

You deserve to be happy, not controlled.

uhhhhhhhhhhh! Mine used to stop me from trying to get my own credit card! He would tear them up, throw away, not tell me what mail I got. In my state the spouse has to approve. and co sign. Wonder HOW then he got 4 in his name only?????

It took me 2 1/2 years to finally succeed. I needed it cuz he had my entire paycheck and only gave me twenty bucks a week to spend, then upted it to thirty the last couple years when I complained it just wasn't enough and he got a hundred each week. Dummy me then.

Fix? Got a post mail box and got a credit card mailed there and then had to lie that I was single. Course when he found out I had my own mail box he gave me the riot act. But it was in my sewu...home business, so then he had nothing to say about that. That was six months before I left. I started diverting all my mail to there so I could open it and see what I got. He even threw out holiday cards from friends who moved away and so I lost contact with them. Evil man.

You have to be smart and figure how to play ahead of any possible roadblocks, or home can become the ultimate prison. IMHO and from my own experience.

Yea he want me to get groceries for 7 people, get everything houshold needs, laundry det, etc. then he wants the rest. to bad he dosent know I have money he dosent know about. That is the good thing about having own buisness, and not being married. On the down side he resents the fact I have a buisness, I am sure he will find a way to mess it up one day. For now he cant stop me.He always says he is the smartest man I will ever meet, guess he didnt know what he got when he met me.Ha Ha

The smartest man you wil or have ever met? Ask him since when have you met everyone on this earth? LOL

Yah, he's the smartest, no other man will ever put up with you/me, or want me nor beeen as patient as him, nor put up with me as he did. Sound familiar? It was new to my ears. I cannot beleive I feel for it at my age. Now it soundds like bull; and seems to be a familiar song and dance with many.

Keep sharing/venting. Do you have a safety plan?

And if he is watching you on the pc, make sure you delete cookies and history each time or he will find you here. Just be careful.

mamac,

I can help you with deleting cookies. They are files that your computer downloads from websites to help read files more easily.

Do you use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or some other browser to access the internet?

Mamac, please do not be so sure of this guy if he is watching you, peering over your shoulder, I can 99% guarantee he is verrrrry interested in your internet use.

Mine played dumb. I had to set up his password. three separate times. He teaches and has used a computer for years. He could ask anyone. Mine did, had a friend come over to the house when I was gone and checked.

I found out he waas only playing dumb, when aol said they were shutting down our account becasue of spam coming out of our computer as he was visiting prono sites.

I fixed 'em. I put him into 12 year old range and aol sent me a daily report of his pc activiites. He sorta got mad on that one, LOl, but I fixed him for awhile.

Just cover your backside. when I finally left with the divorce, he took the computer. Although I never did anything agaisnt my marriage, it was still eerrie to have him read my emails to my girlfriends and all of my concerns about him and me and the marriage. Hmmm had to go to plan B for myself.

Be careful. Take no risks

COB,,,cover your butt!
