Gosh I hope i am not going to open myself up to riducle on here again by posting this but I really want to talk bout it and hopefully nice people will post and the trolls will stay away!

ANYWAY! Has anyone ever seen and or heard something that was not there? I am not talking about being intoxicated or having an disorder here, I am not into drugs or alochol and this only happened once to me while in college, I was renting an old home and I was alone in it during the summer.

After taking a very difficult exam, I came back to the house and I went upstairs to tak a nap, I was not sleeping but merely sitting on the edge of the bed...it was very warm out and I could hear children playing in the alley way...I was tired however, not sure if that means anything or not.

I then seen a mans hand come out of the corner of the room, it was a white man with a suit on, I could see the brown jacket and white cuffing...just the arm and hand reaching out of the corner of the room..

Next I got up and walked to the hallway cause I could hear a voice calling my name to come here, over and over again....after awhile this all went away.

I am not sure what I did after this, I did stay in the house, I was concerned but not really that scared, what does this mean? ANYTHING?!~

BFG,

No ridicule from me.

I have not experienced anything like this per se - but more than once I follow the eyes of one of my female cats and she does seem to see 'something' moving about and sometimes looks directly over my head as if something is there.

Another time, I had the window open (with a screen) and she kept following something with her eyes as if the - whatever - was going back and forth - from like - outside to inside and back again.

I don't think that it was like - a gnat or anything because her head kept darting back and forth and it is a very small screen, afterall.

Thes one woman I worked with a long time ago told me that after her grandfather died, she was sitting on the bed and the bed made an indentation and then she said that she smelled and could feel her grandfathers whiskers on her face and like, giving here a hug or something. She said she wasn't scared - only that it was kind of strange........

There have been cases noted in books such as "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot which I have in my collection, but to tell you the truth, haven't picked up in years now - but to which talks about stuff like this.

About how some past energies can still occupy the same space thru time-space.

Ya just don't know...........

But then again - when you really stop and think about it....everything gets recycled, you know. Nothing really, ever dies and just out and out 'ceases' to exist - even in memory.....just transforms into something else has always been my contention.

(Actually, I wrote a poem about something similar to this many moons ago, but won't take the liberties of sharing it with you unless you're particularily interested....)

To get back to your courageous, honest post/question - guess that I would have to say, well, yeah - sort of.........

Please share if you want too, would be interested:) This happened on the very day, a friend/roomate of mine that was in another country, had passed away, she was just 19....I remember going to a mutual friends home and she was telling me how this friend, who died, her firealarm would not stop going off, they could not figure it out, they said it was weird, now this was the same day, we had not known tll much later on that week...they said it was dust in her unit, weird, cause we turn to dust right? But being a mans hand and not a young woman, that seems off too.

Maybe your cat sees an paraelle universe that humans can't see maybe? I think that is VERY possible.

BFG,

When my father-in-law died, there was a street-lamp right in front of the house where he lived and that all of a sudden it stayed lit 24/7 for like - a week or more. Never shut off.

The electical crew came out and said that they didn't have an explanation as to why this was happening?

Well, since (I think) you asked, here is my poem:

SURRENDER

In a twinkle, In a wink –
an autumn leaf so sweetly sink,
Unto the ground, where others lie
resting now… (and prepared to die.)

For shade it gave, from way Up high…
…but now, down here –
moaned a welcome sigh.

I will color the earth
from my sweet surrender
and nourish this tree,
when spring is tender.

For surrender hath no bitter end.,
but will….in time,
secretly transcend –

back and within and Up to the sky!
When all turns green –
….yes…..
bye and bye.

(That's the way I personally feel it all eventually shakes out.....personally.....)

But what do I know, really?

tBt

Wow, that was good! What does anyone know? I mean no person or group can claim to the "Answer" cause no one has died and came back to tell it...interesting bout your father-in-law and the light...you never know, do you?

"What does anyone know? I mean no person or group can claim to the "Answer" cause no one has died and came back to tell it.."

Well, what the hell, at the risk of some folks thinking that I am absolutely NUTS and off my rocker - I can tell you, honestly, in my true heart of hearts that I actually DID have the option from the 'other side' to opt for this life experience.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Most folks might think I'm delusional or something.....

But I - just as sure as the nose on my face - actually, DISTINCTLY remember OPTING for this life expereince before I took the plunge and was warned by a bunch of elders sitting around - like this oval table....that it was going to be rough and asking me if I was up to the challenge and to which I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER ANSWERING....."YES - I AM UP TO THE CHALLENGE!"

(Call me nuts, call me crazy, call me whatever....I don't really care anymore....I just fricking know what I know.)

Now, NOW - oh lawd, I so regret it.

Many, many times in the absolute throes of grief and utter, deep depression I say to myself.....just what IN THE HELL was I thinking??????

Coming back here to try and make a difference knowing full well all of the misery that is most likely to occur and stand in my way?

Could just KICK myself in the you-know-what for agreeing to this awful mess to begin with!

Well, there you have it. Believe it. Don't believe it. I really don't care. All I know is that next fricking damn time.....you better just bet your damn bippy that my ass is going to stay put alright!!!!!

On the good, quiet, peaceful side.

No more fricking 'exploring' this damned realm anymore trying to make a difference.....trying to damn give it the 'benefit of the doubt.'

Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. No sir-ree-bob!

My ass is going to stay put from here on out next go 'round.

Just ain't gonna mess with all the stuff anymore.....

I'm Fricking DONE!!!!!!!!

All the time...hear them too. Sometimes feel them. Sometimes smell them. Never tasted them.

If I had but the absence physical sense that I need in order to know what they are, that would be cool.

Hi everyone,

Can't help but respond to this thread. lol. The most confusing part is not "did I really see this" but, "I saw this, so what does it mean"? You know you saw it. That's not the question. The question is, what is "it" supposed to be telling me? Hmmm, don't know. One thing I've read is if it doesn't scare you, then it was "friendly". BFG, you were probably living in a house that was occupied by a spirit who hadn't moved on yet.

I started experiencing things when I met a woman who was a very good friend of my xh. Because of her I started studying. 20 years later I have a better idea of what I believe in.

Babies and animals "see" what we don't. I believe it's because their frequency is higher and on a different level then adults and humans. We could see a lot more if we upped our frequency level. I choose NOT to see spirits. I tend to hear things and see things move, and I will smell different scents. Like before I knew I was pregnant with my first child, I was constantly smelling baby powder. And occasionally I will smell a woman's cologne, (probably my mom) when I'm by myself. But I don't see spirits. I don't want to. Reminds me of Rocky and Bullwinkle where Rocky asks "are they friendly spirits"? Aah, you guys are probably to young to remember that. My age is showing!

I think we are given the opportunity to learn more about the universe. If we're ready we'll start delving into it. If we're not, then maybe some other time. I think we are all spiritual beings, just at different levels. And we get to choose HOW we experience them.

BFG you said:
"I mean no person or group can claim to the "Answer" cause no one has died and came back to tell it..."

I had to laugh at that. (Not at you, but with you) Since Easter is near, I feel it very timely that you would say that! I mean what the heck did Jesus do?? LOL THAT'S what I think Easter is about. I don't celebrate it because I know it's a Christian holiday and they believe that only Jesus could rise from the dead. And the jews don't believe he's come back yet. BUT I believe he was trying to tell everyone that yes, you live more then one life. Reincarnation. Even in the bible he says Peter begat Paul, who begat Joseph who begat whoever.....lol Sorry, I know I don't have the names in the right order, but you get my drift. I'm sure a lot of Christians probably think it's blasphemy, but whatever....ha That's my interpretation. And after all I've read and seen, that's my story and I'm stick'n to it. So that's how I celebrate Easter.

tBt you said:
"No more fricking 'exploring' this damned realm anymore trying to make a difference.....trying to damn give it the 'benefit of the doubt."

It's frustrating I know. Mostly because most people don't know why they're here AGAIN in the first place. I think it's nice you want to make a difference. But what kind of difference? Are you trying to cure world hunger? Find the cure for cancer? Save the animals? I think we put WAY too much on ourselves to leave some kind of GIANT mark. Really we leave lots of important marks everywhere we go. For example, just lending an ear to someone who needs to vent can change so many things. Or even saying hello to co-workers when you see them in the morning. (It amazes me how people just ignore each other) It completely changes the energy. Standing up for ourselves and having boundaries makes people RESPONSIBLE for themselves. If we fix ourselves first, the planet will start to heal. Ok, I went on a rant.

We need to stop thinking we're not enough.

So, where was I? Oh, in answer to your question BFG, yes, I've seen, heard and smelled unexplained things. I find/found it fascinating, which is what started me on my spiritual quest.

Peace.

Hep

gosh glad it was most likely friendly...hate to think if it wasn't? I have seen a story once on tv bout an unfriendly one, the family had to move, it was killing their animals and messing with their minds, if it was true...who knows for sure, it must of been terrifying, they had excerisms and all kind of things done and nothing worked!

I am not into volunteering, I do not feel a need to make a mark of any kind, I just exist and if i am in the mood to do something nice for smoeone, I do do that but I do not feel I HAVE to do this in order to be a good person...

Why is that? Well cause I was controlled early on and I also feels society gives people guilt strips and wants to make slaves out of us and tell us HOW we should live, no one will tell me what to do with my free time or enery or money...no one has that kind of power of me...

Maybe this ghost or whatever it was, was reaching out to me, it knew my name and it wasn't messing with me in a bad way, it was trying to get my attention....I did hear once that ghosts never call you by name but it was something, it was not my imagintation...that I am very sure bout.

Being that my friend died on that same day and her smoke alarm went off that same day and they could not turn it off is errie....
