Makes sense.

#1 maybe bein the evil-ex lurking and me not knowing what to expect next, as in him in my house, trying to take my son, etc. Or in this marriage as in warning me hubby is smokin dope again?

#2 The cloud dream kept recurring right before Jeff decided to move to his dad's to live. Then when he was gone the tornadoes started up again. And during that time is when the evil-ex put him in a military school 3 hours away and I couldn't find him, that my son was on drugs again, etc.

Maybe #1 and/or #2 tellin me to stop the worry and the stressing or I would pay for the rest of my life w/ this illness? That brings on another question. How do you not be stressed when you have no control over what someone else does? I have always said I just need to get the "I don't give a shit attitude" or "how bout that" to me. I think folks that walk around and things don't bother them are astounding. How do they? And on the other hand, How can they, don't they care? Any insight into this also?

mamac,
Knowing what, how and who you believe in, these are the first thoughts about your dreams that came to my mind:

#1 Dream: You are in Psalms 91.

#2 Dream: Trees are mentioned in the Bible many times...especially about our roots going way sown deep to drink from the water to stay grounded. I see you wanting Jeff to come back to what he knows, what you taught him. The Tree is always there, always standing strong, and refers to what I think may be God in your dream. The cloud is the addiction that you see carrying him away. But it's up to Jeff to turn it around. Good that you are there for him, but it's up to him. And, God represented by the tree in your dream, is ALWAYS there, waiting, helping, watching...it's between Jeff and God.

How does this sound to you?

hugs and love,
omw

OMW: Never have I thought about those dreams like that. Nice thought. Maybe so even. Have not had one in a long time, but then Jeff has not been all 100% on the scene here so what he does or does not do is not in my face. Hmmm. Definitely something to think on.

Lewis.. Do you want to share what your recurring dreams are? I'm not able to interpret, but am interested in what they are.

Sorry mamacinnamon
In real life I talk alot, for some reason here, I seem to expect others to read my mind! lol

Recently I have dreamt about an old school friend, he keeps popping into my dreams and it's as if we are a couple too. He is somebody I wouldn't normally think about, he did have a crush on me when we were at school though.

I really don't think that people can interpret other people's dreams- dreams are the unconscious attempting to communicate with the conscious. The conscious is not privy to everything occurring, but the unconscious is, and logs everything into memory. Remember, we only use 3-7 % of our brain.

so, it's personal. to a certain extent. I'd have to agree with OMW's assessment of your dreams mamma kuz she's using a "language" that your subconscious might be using.
Try this. Gget a dream interpretation book, and start to log in dreams when you wake, right when you wake, jotting down facts only- not filling in blanks (dreams don't follow a linear course with time and time is warped). Each night before you go to bed, try to interpret your dreams with your book. Read your book front to end, and your unconscious will have it. It will start using this book to communicate if you are also using it to communicate with it.

make sense?

This so worked for me.

Of course, there are common dreams, such as trains, water, dying, flying, falling. Your dreams may take on a combination and consequently a new meaning. Kind of like "water and bird" to describe a duck.

Recurring dreams are a recurring attempt at communication. They often turn into nightmares when ignored.

the people in dreams are just objects and are usually metaphoric.

So lewis- my guess would be that something in your past is affecting your life now. What it could be depends on the feelings you have associated with this dream.

horsefly, in case you still want to hear about dreams. I think there are many types of dreams. Some of them are just our brains trying to empty out the garbage we saw during the day. Some of them are a deep self speaking to us about what we want or need or have to offer. And some of them are visions.

You're the only one who can know which category each of your dreams fits into.

What did the person have in his hand? Do these 3 dreams link together? Did they feel real? Was it the same person?

If you do have a vision horsefly, it is important to heed the feelings about the vision. If it feels bad or wrong, you should just say "no."

I believe that I met my guardian angel in my dream. He was funny. We laughed. He had an odd hairdo. He had documents in his hand. When I asked him who he was he took me to a mirror as I asked the question "Who are you?" and he disappeared. Then I heard a baby crying on the other side of a steel wall. I knew I was dreaming, so I just jumped through the wall. The baby was me. Her mother was tired and in a nightgown rising from bed. I picked up little me and fed her a bottle. When I woke up, I heard my own baby crying. That was part of it. My mother said, "That was you in the dream." But I know there was someone else there, helping me, guiding me. There was another benevolent, kind person there. I just know this on a deep level and don't need any proof. It was a good, good angel.

There are many other dream experiences that I've had, but this one opened the door.

What is your feeling about the man in your dream? The angel in my dream started as a far away blueish white speck of light and rushed in closer till it actually knocked me off my feet. There was curiosity, then shock, then bliss. This was a real experience. It was more than a dream. Something happened.

Love to you horsefly.
