Psalm 46:10 Be still and KNOW that I am God.

It gives me strength to KNOW that He is there for me, and guiding me through every valley of life, loving me through the valley, and helping me climb the mountain. When I am not still, not quiet, I can't hear His ever so gentle guidance.

Ok, I did this and lost it. Must need to type each verse twice. 🙂

There are so many I could go on and on but the 3 that give me the most strength are:

I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. Phil 4;13

then

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matt 6:34

then

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Prov. 22:6

And my GOD shall supply ALL your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 4:19)

It always shows me that God is rich, capable, abundant and He will always provide!

Thanks SoulSpirit fo this lovely enriching thread!

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. … Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (Matthew 6:25, 26).

"When you go through deep waters, and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown!" Isaiah 43:2

"I have chosen you and will not throw
you away. Don't be afraid, for I am
with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am
your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:9-10
"I will go to the altar of God,
to God - the source of all my joy." Psalm 43:4

Sorry, I got carried away but i love these. They keep me going.

Reg.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe!

Whenever there is someone bad, evil in my life, I remember very well that God is the Mightiest. It makes me realize that oftentimes, we tend to belittle God and make HIM seem insignificant or impotent when He is all in all.

Ah... so refreshin! I indeed CAN do ALL things!

Psalm 42:1-2 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

I so find that the more He is with me, the more I need him to be with me... I do pant like a deer needing water to be near Him....

Reading books often gives me strength, because it showes me how manifold life is. I prefer good fiction works to the bible, though.

"22 Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, "These nursing babies are like those who enter the kingdom."

They said to him, "Then shall we enter the kingdom as babies?"

Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]." 113 His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"

"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."

From the Gospel of Thomas taken from The Complete Gospels: Annotated Scholars Version.

"... The world came about through a mistake. For he who created it wanted to create it imperishable and immortal. He fell short of attaining his desire. For the world never was imperishable, nor, for that matter, was he who made the world. For things are not imperishable, but sons are. Nothing will be able to receive imperishability if it does not first become a son. But he who has not the ability to receive, how much more will he be unable to give? ..."

Thanks SoulSpirit.

"... If a sentient being clings to lakshana in his mind, then he will cling to self, human beings, sentient beings, or souls. If he clings to the lakshana of a law, then he will also cling to self, human beings, sentient beings, or souls. Thus, he must not cling to laws or non-laws, and this is why I have often said to you monks that even my teachings should be understood to be like a raft; if even the Dharma must be let go of, then how much more must everything else be let go of?"
