Truthfully, we shouldn't engage in flame wars here either.
Having said that....we are human and some people just bring out the
worst in others. And others still try their hardest to bring out
the worst in others 😉 Such is life though I guess.

In the end, it's
up to each of us whether we choose to engage or not.

So...I only to see a few minutes of Atlanta Housewives last
night.

Two things I have
to say.....I love NeNe. I've gone back and forth with her since
last season but right now I'm loving her. Did anyone see the
episode where she had the heart to heart with her older son?? God,
she had me in tears. Obviously we only know what we see on t.v but
from what I've seen, I really admire the way she handles her
children.

The other thing I
have to say is....

I hate Sheree
Whitfield.

Her entitled
attitude is completely obnoxious. If I was a man, I wouldn't give
her the time of day.

That's it for now
🙂

Hi
lollipop3. I think that the more a person makes me feel out of
control the more I want to control them. Believe me I have to
struggle at times to remind myself that the path towards serenity
is in the opposite direction of the path towards giving into my
need to react.

"I
will have no desire to interact with you"

andii: I think
that is the perfect resolution. Please, do not engage with me. I
appreciate you coming up with that proposal. Really.

to everybody else-
Good morning!!

Morning girls :o) - I caught an episode of Beverly HIlls
Housewives, and it was pretty lame. I know people who act just like
that - LA is full of them. I'm always amazed at how superficial
people can be, no matter how long I live here! Don't get me wrong -
I like my handbags and shoes ... but good God ... those gals are
about as shallow as spit. They need to throw a housewife with some
depth into the mix, and see what happens. :o)

It's been 90
degrees in LA!!! Summer is back for a short time. I weed-whacked
another paddock when I got home last night. That's my main form of
exercise these days. I've been on weightwatchers online for over
three months now, and have lost 13lbs. Five more pounds to go, then
everything in my closet will fit again. I gained 20lbs of wedding
weight, and it was high time to get it off. Feels so much better!
Now I can gorge myself on thanksgiving and christmas, without
feeling guilty.

Free, free, free
.... "Stinkers aren't worth energy or time until they choose to
stop stinking. I've been in a support group or two with an
occasional stinker, found out later that they were the ones hurting
the most." --- This was only ONE of the posts on WD's thread where
you were doing exactly what you accuse everyone else of doing. No
one needs you to save them from the supposed "bullies" of the site
(another one of your accusations about people in this group). AAC
doesn't need a self-appointed bully monitor --- especially one that
poses under different nicknames and attempts to start shit with the
same people over and over again. Mind your own business. Get a
hobby. How about putting all of this weird energy of yours into
figuring out why you continue to chase us around from thread to
thread to stir shit up? I don't know ... I don't really care what
you do, as long as I don't have to deal with you.

Hey
Shaney- weed wacking the paddock? Sounds like a good way to get
some frustrations out, besides burn some calories.

Nah, haven't heard
from the date but I've decided thats he's too boring for me. At
first I thought he was so-so, now I think he's no-no. He must feel
the same.

Back to the
drawing board, although I'm not really looking. Its sort of
peaceful not being on the dating treadmill. Its entertainment
though, I'll give you that.

Hi
Isis!

Lolli: I think
your efforts towards the step son are so commendable. He's lucky to
get you as part of the deal.

Hi

the best for all involved.

Hey
Shanster,

What's up
girlfriend?

I'm probably going
to regret this but I have to laugh....

Is it just me or
does anyone else find it perversely amusing that there are people
just chatting away about Farmville on a thread that began with man
completely fabricating the fact that his "fiance" was brutally
"BEATEN, RAPED AND MURDERED".

It's almost beyond
comprehension how odd that is. LOL

I know, I
know..... bring on the fly swatter.....lol

Hi
lollipop3 I hear what you are saying, the person who wrote the
thread updated it and the woman is alive and well. This person has
started a new thread with updated info. about his situation. Do you
think it would be better if I just started a new thread dedicated
to discussing farmville?

Hey

laugh.

That's probably a
good idea puptent. WD may want to stay on the subject of his most
recent situation for a while.

Hi
Puptent,

Yes, I did see
that his story changed once he discovered people did not believe
the original one. Of course that doesn't change the fact that he
made up that she was beaten and raped in addition to being murdered
in the first place, but I digress.(Ok, I know! I'll stop now:)
Having said that, I wouldn't necessarily have suggested that you
start a new thread as it appears he didn't mind the farmville thing
on his but I see you already did start a new one so my opinion
matters not :).

I hope you know
that I didn't mean to discourage your farmville conversation at all
and I hope you didn't take it that way. I was just making what I
thought to be an odd yet humerous observation.

Take care and
happy farming :o)

Hi
SD,

I can wish that it
was hot here. I'm cold already and it's not even winter yet! I
can't wait until hubby retires so we can move to place where I can
be warm all the time 🙂

I just read about
Conviction. I hadn't even heard of it but it sounds really good. I
will make it a point to go see it.

A don't even get
me STARTED on OJ...

At least the slimy
bastard is where he belongs now.

Hi
Lolli: I really liked the movie, partly because I like the actors
in it. I love the little part Juliette Lewis has in it- OMG. Yep, I
think its a winner.

I think its going
to be a hot one today too, maybe not AS hot though. we didn't even
have summer, now this.

Oh well, off and
running............

I
think you have made intelligent observations lollipop3. It was best
that I got a new thread dedicated to the online gaming thing. I had
to question a post that I saw on another thread. If a person is not
being honest at the end of the day the only person they are fooling
is them self. Farmville is a place I can go and tune out the world.
Gotta replace reality once in a while.

Hi
Puptent,

I couldn't agree
more about fooling ourselves when we are not honest, however be
careful who you try to tell that to around these parts....you could
end up being threatened and called a narcissitic, bully, psycho,
etc....lol. Unfortunately, some people just can't hear and/or
handle the truth. Or at least others perceptions of them and their
behavior....

Anyway, I agree to
about replacing reality for a while and losing ourselves in
something mindless (for lack of a better word). Hence my addiction
to the Housewives. It's about the only time during my "real" life
that I am not working, going to school, doing homework,
etc.etc.

We all need to
take a break once and while.

Hi
lollipop3. Thank you for your words of caution. I trust your
advise. When I get a chance I will tune into the housewife show.
Feel fortunate to have the good health and energy to keep up with
your routine.

Girls
-

I took a break
from reality for a few days.

an ex from nine
years ago contacted me....my initial gut reaction was "ugh"...and I
feared it was not good.

but it was ok - he
was lonely and thought of me and figured he would see what was
going on.

we talked, ALOT,
and he was trying to figure out when he could come see me (he is
still in CT)....and I was ok with it, only in that I'm lonely and a
little diversion of sorts would be ok.

everything was
going along swimmingly....and then BAM! out of the clear blue sky
he tells me never to contact him again. Kind of like it happened
ten years ago, although then, we had been dating for a while, not
just three days.

anyway.....exes
are exes for a reason....I went fishing for an explanation, but
doubt I will get one......

doug is done, dan
is done...who's next? sam? erich....better not be erich....I'll
kill him...and it won't be no bogus post...lol.

anyway....it was a
three day whirlwind of endless chatter that gave me some
distraction, but back to reality and back to the books...sigh.....I
just want my love life back....with school tho....may not
happen.

I
agree lolli - mindless...sometimes, when you are so freaking busy
filling your brain with stuff...you need to decompress.

sometimes,
watching those shows reminds me that the other half doesn't always
have it so good....or they are no different than us, just more
money to blow!!!!

anyway, I want to
know when the new episodes are starting...I miss
bethanny......

Hi
Rising,

Didn't you do this
with the ex not so long ago? Or was that a different ex I am
thinking of? I think we all do that from time to time...especially
us codies....recycle ex's because we don't like stepping out of our
comfort zones. I know I used to do that. My sister still does it. I
found it to be a dead end every time.

Did you see the
Beverly Hills Housewives last night? It was kind of sickening
actually....the one that spent $60,000 on her 4 year olds birthday
party. And then tried to act like it was for the kid!! Does she
actually think anyone would by that??

Whatever her
reasons were I still think it is disgraceful. I mean, I can see
giving your kids nice things if you have that kind of money but
give me a break.....

And I'm still
loving Nene from Atlanta.

You know Bethenny
is not coming back to the show right?

noooooooooooooooooooooo

don't say
that............nooooooooooooooooooooo

now you have
officially ruined my weekend.

no you
didn't...but it is sad....and I totally understand why
tho.

anyway - another
ex...and no, I didn't recycle this one per se...he came looking for
me...I went looking for doug.

My gut said
nothing good would come of this...if nothing else, I just needed
the diversion/distraction....and I was right, nothing good came of
it.

I will not EVER
recycle erich...lol.

anyway....it was
nice to have some attention for a day or two...have someone to talk
to....but it wasn't going to go anywhere.

see, my exes all
live six hours from me....and I REFUSE to give up my goals and
ambitions...so if they want me, they gotta come to me...and none of
them are willing (among other reasons).

so, it's always a
nice diversion from the normal humdrum of the day, but int he end,
I don't expect anything to happen.

ok, maybe I was
hoping for a little something for a weekend, kind of thing...but
after all this time...who could blame me?!

oh,
and I have NO watched BH - BUt - the amount of money teresa spent
on the baby's christening? THEN to declare bankruptcy?????? and how
about that "last minute" trip to italy for all those people??? my
god, I know how much a last minute trip to florida costs...but to
ITALY????

holy
crow.

and back to the
christening...geezus josef and mary...did you see all they
did...and the poor kid...she could NOT have cared less...or even
known. Marie antoinette in the center of a table serving cheese?
good god.

and then there was
the party for danielle's sweet 16......

sigh...I would
give anything for a wad of THEIR CASH!

I
watched beverly hills for first time this weekend...OMG...I would
kill for that kind of money.

the birthday party
was OVER the top....and I am sorry, but no matter what she says, it
was NOT for the kid...it was totally for the adults and for her...I
mean, look at the photo shoot - was all about her.

and the one that
owns the basketball team, casino and such...OMG - she can say she
is not bragging, but she is by taking them all and giving them all
she did.

The cotton candy
thing was HYSTERICAL.

And kelsea
grammars wife?...you CANNOT tell me she is NOT sleeping with those
hunks...I mean really - kelsea has NOTHING over those
hotties.....

and all those
nannies and hired help? at least new york wives take care of their
own (except for luann of course).

anyway....it's
nice to see how the other half lives...but damn.

Oh, and I love the
crap between kim and kyle....and how lisa totally looks down on
them for trying to cook for her....she's a guest for god's
sake!!!!

anyway, I had some
guilty pleasure in between all my homeowrk this weekend.

I
watched Atlanta last night.

I have to say that
I love Kim. Don't get me wrong, I think she is ridiculous but I
love the fact that she couldn't care less that I think she's
ridiculous. I love that she just is who she is and doesn't make
excuses for it. I admire that in people. Well, people who don't
deliberately hurt other people by being who they are that is....
But I think you know what I mean.

I felt bad for
Nene on last night's show. As we know, alcohol is not always our
friend and I feel bad that she was drunk and acting like she was in
front of her company...and you know...the rest of the world. I
think its sad that her marriage is falling apart in front of the
world. Of course I know she is the one that put herself on t.v. but
I still think its' sad anyway.

Until the next
time America....
