Zinnie

Did you forget to tell the Doctor that when he (I'm assuming) was down there, that only GOOD sensations were to be allowed???

Dang ~ that is not a place you want to hurt in!

Pardon my wicked thoughts, but, double dang (like my curses?) what if you got to itch?? I am being serious - all my incisions itched after surgeries! Not comfy.

I wish you well my friend - and absolutely NO ITCHES!

Hope you are feeling better today...

(Wishing all you ladies well.)

Juanita

Sew: lol

I am so not the person to ask this of. I have my vengful thoughts. The verses I like are:

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.
Proverbs 25:21 & Romans 12:20

but, I also have to remember:
Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from him. Proverbs 24:17

Anyway, the verse you want:
Romans 12:19; Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's rath, for it is written, It is mine to avenge; I will repay says the Lord.

Hebrews 10:30 is like this one also, but just not worded the same.

Check out avenge/revenge/vengence in your Bible's concordence and you'll find tons more.

Ah Ha! Got onto the thread after trying for days. One thing and another.... the other was me.... doing something wrong.

Zinnie, what can I say? I am so sorry that you are in pain both mentally and physically. But I see you have a great weapon, your humour and strength of will and character.

I mentioned on Tumble's thread that I had connection with a healing group (Charity) for cancer patients and their families. The Chairperson is a doctor, and the methods used are diet meditation, Reiki and Spiritual Healing, relaxation counseling to relieve stresses of the past and present which stress the depress the immune system, and all the alopathic approaches as well. (Chemo etc).

I filled varions roles, (not health professional) and made meditation etc tapes that the chairty used for fund raising. I have seen that people who have used relaxation/creative visualisation come through surgeries easier and do well at stimulating their immune systems. In effect you are directing your body to work in the way you want it to.

I have seen marvels and wonders. And yes, some people died, but with such calm courage. And the families were so much more supported. And some people lived despite all the odds.

One thing that used to be mentioned, and I'm sure is not new, is - Cancer, a word, not a sentence.

I think they have a website. It's called Balya Cancer Self-Help and Wellness. Balya in at least one of the aboriginal languages means Healing.

I should like to help, of send healing, if you'd like it. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you.

love to all,

Hi Lady V.,

Thanks for the info, I will be checking to see if they have a website... I'm all for the natural healing too.

At this point, I just want the pain to stop.

Hey Juanita... actually, I do not associate the Dr.'s visit with any kind of "good feelings" there or anywhere - sorry to say... The one thing, that I do miss is that I had my old Dr. for so long it was comfortable during the exam - well, as comforatable as one can be while being stretched to the four corners and looked at. So, right now it is a matter of developing that relationship with a Dr. that looks like he should still have a paper route.

Oh well... hoping Dr. R. enjoys his retirement - Lord knows, I paid him enough to retire in style.

Z.

Good morning all!

I have been having my moments for sure, but am feeling generally grateful for my life as it is after all my mom just went through. I feel so lucky that she came home alive and well!!!

I don't know if I mentioned that my therapist is dying of lung cancer. He has a little boy who is about 8 years old. He said his prognosis was two years, but he is trying to make it to 5 years because he wants to see his son become a teenager. Poor guy!

It's weird because when I was seeing him I would get this feeling that he was sick with cancer. I think it was something I learned to pick up on when I worked in a nursing home. I don't know how to explain it.

Anyway, I saw him yesterday for the first time in over a month and he has lost about 50 lbs. He was in a lot of pain, and is now relying on a cane to get around--yet he shuffled his schedule all around so that he could fit me in. I don't know how he does it, but he keeps on working!

Talk about dealing with chronic pain--I know he must be in agony while he is sitting there listening to me go on and on about my troubles.

I admire him the way I admire the rest of you. It is hard, living the way we do. But for the most part, I read posts here and what I read about is life and living it.

We have much to be proud of!!!

Love to all,

Ren'ai

Godd afternoon to all,

I am hoping that everyone has a good day, or even an hour of relief, wheerever you are with dealing with the pain.

I have good news to share! I went to the chiropractor this morning. My back is holding up with the adjustments! Was going weekly, now past two visits were two weeks apart. Still having headaches, but no migraines for three weeks. My neck still creeks and pops when I stretch exercise it, but keeping in place.

Just wanted to share good news.

So glad to hear about some stories of successes here!!!

I'm very concerned for Zinnie. I can tell she has so much going on in her body and in her life overall. I just don't know how she manages to keep it all together but she does!!!

Let's "bind together" and "pray" for her today.

Love,

Ren'ai

Zin, I have a friend who has talked with this lady before. Her email is [email protected]. Cannot remember her website address, but she is very nice, her name is Susan Grey, she resides in So. Carolina, pay as you can, and she is a healer. Thought I would pass along. 😉

Hi all...

All the best to you Zinnie today (everyday).

If my above post offended anyone - I do apologize. It is awful to be in pain, and in such a sensitive area must be 1000 times worst (or more). Sometimes approaching a subject with a tiny angle of humor helps to alievate the pain - (this is often what I do to get myself by if something hurts). I do sincerely apologize though if it bothered anyone.

I truly care about Z, and have known her awhile, and she has seen how I give myself these doses of humour to get thru. I would never EVER wish her (or anyone for that matter) any pain or discomfort, and I loathe to think I may have caused anyone any ill feelings.

Again, my apologies.

J

Just stopping by to say hello to everyone,

Zinnie, hope you are doing better with your past surgery and over all, having a good day.

MamaC, sorry about the bad you're having. Take it easy on that arm. what else can you do for the relief? Anap or just a bit of rest? Are you right handed or left?

You're both on my mind and a prayer for you both to get some relief of pain and to be better!

((((gentle hugs to you both))))

Mama,

After what just happened to my own "Momma" the description of the pain you are experiencing is causing me concern. It could be heart related. Please take good care of you!

Love,

I have CHRONIC PAIN too!!! I have had really bad pain in my hips, knees, lower back for about 2 years now. I have NEVER been dignosed withanything either!!! it seems like all the M.D.s do is shake their heads, and refill prescriptions. and its been getting worse. I take about 1200mg of vicidn a day, and soma, neurontin and celebrx, all of which may as well be tic tacs!!!! (at least mt breath would be minty!!) lol.
Im sorry you are in so much pain, I can certainly empathise!!

addicts wife,

I am so sorry and I empathize w/ your struggle to get a diagnosis. It took me 7 years to get a diagnosis. I went from doc to doc to doc only to be made to feel like I was crazy. Some put me on drugs that really zoned me; others tried evasive treatments, like shots in the back of my neck into my spine to try to block my pain. I think those were the absolute worse.

I take alot of the meds you take. I have oxycontin, vicotin (when needed), ultram, neurontin, mirapex, skelaxin, gymfibrizol, etc. etc. (15 scripts, 4 homeos).

I did get a post traumatic stress diagnosis two years into my illness. Then got fibromyalgia sometime later. They didn't tell me when, I saw it in my file. Then 2 1/2 years ago I took a turn for the worse and now i'm just a total mess. But that's not the point here.

Is it only in the hips, knees, and lower back? Mine presented in my hands and bilateral arms and sat there mostly till 2 1/2 years ago.

May I ask, you are addicts wife, may I ask if there was abuse? May I ask if they have looked at post traumatic stress or fibromyalgia? Those are my two main diagnoses. I was married to a really evil man for 12 years; ptsd.

Also, may I ask what type docs are you seeing? They kept sending me to neurologists, and ??can't think of the other. I had several rheumys also I think. But it was a rheumy that finally diagnosed me.

I want to tell you to don't give up. Keep tryin to get that diagnosis. Oh, one more thing. Is your insurance HMO or PPO? We finally switched to PPO because HMO goes by certain steps and w/ PPO you can choose your doc and you can tell them what you want done. It is a bit more expensive, but in my care it has been a real door opener. Also wanted to ask, if I may, what part of the country are you in?

Anyway, I am so full of Qs, sorry. Take care and if you want to talk, I'm here.

Ren'ai:

You are such a sweetheart. I care a great deal for you also.

I go to the doc in med February. I had cancelled my appts last week.

Well, it depends which hospital you talk to. One says the right side of my heart is slightly enlarged, have the ultrasound to back it up. Probably from the sleep apnea coz w/ that you stop breathing in your sleep w/ causes heart failure of a sense and that is what has caused my edema. I stop breathing appx 102 times per hour according to that test. The other hospital says I have no problems w/ my heart, but they only gave me half the stress test and said I am fine. Oh, I do have mitral valve also, but have had it as long as I can remember.

So, honey, we have it under control. (I think?) As much as the docs will do. lol.

On a personal note. I did want to say something to you regarding your post in prayer, but didn't feel like dealing w/ things over there. I'm tired. For what it's worth, I wanted to tell you that I am sorry for the pain and suffering you had to deal w/ during your childhood. No child should ever have to suffer. I don't have any magic answers and I know you are kinda down on God, but I believe there are reasons for everything. You are an example of that. You do wonderful work w/ children. I believe we are used to help others that are going thru what we have lived in our lives. I wanted to say Bless You for the work you do w/ the little ones. That truly takes a strong heart.

Thanks for our concern about me, but don't worry. Things are as much under control as they can be. I keep you close to my heart.

Good evening Ladies,

Need a prayer again. I sure am a mess this weekend; and it's been such a good weekend.

I have these episodes where I get pain in my chest and it moves into my face and my jaw clinches shut and goes down my arm or arms and they get really weak. It is kinda like waves of emince pain and......and well I'm having one tonight. I feel like I could just fall on the floor. This one isn't as severe as most, but it's right there waiting to come out.

The boys are so excited coz we put JumpStart on this computer and we are playing/learning preK. I keep almost falling asleep. They are like Aunt, wake up. lol

I'm sure this will pass soon, but I really hate when I get this. Thanks for the prayers.

ok sew, I whined.

MamaC,

If you are having chest pains which travel to your jaw and your arm, please call the doctor, now! This is nothing to mess with and this is something new? You have referred about pains before, which you thought were other things. But making a phne call to the doctor, even if at nite, is okay. They will have some doctor on call to refer you someone to discuss what to do now. Please do not take these heart symptoms lightly. It may be stressed related, it may not. But you do not know until you talk to someone, and not tomarrow. thank you, please keep us posted.

If you are having chest pains, radiating to your jaw and arm, please call 911. They can determine what you are going thru.
