i know this is off topic but I know some of you live in Canada and I promised my daughter we would use my hubbys frequent flyer miles this summer to take her dream vava to canada...My daughter plans on moving to canada one day!

I hope this post is ok, its off topic but I need help in finding a nice safe area that is english speaking and enjoyable, we want to be somewhere near the ocean and to have some lighthouses to visit and hopefully nothing too clogged with people!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Nova Scotia , NFLD, Labrador. Beautiful scenery and warm people.
OR British Columbia. Ferries to Vancouver Island, Nanaimo is where the ferry lands from Vancouver then go to the west coast of the island (Victoria up to TOFINO) Tofino is just GEORGEOUS, clean and friendly.r

Lighthouses by the ocean.

In Ontario u can go to Georgian Bay near Tobermory. There is a ferry that goes to Manatoulin Island. Lighthouses everywhere and the population is sparse up North. Lots of smnall communities and so many waterways to explore.

Here's a start with locations. Google what you want to see and choose a spot! ;0)

BFG it is funny right after I read your post I received the following link from real estate agent in British Columbia. I don't know who she is so I can't make any recommendations. I think I know how she got my email address but for the sake of anonymity cannot say, but here it is for what it's worth

BFG - my sister and her family have a summer home in Pugwash Nova Scotia (funny name I know).

They are right off the ocean. When I went to visit them one year I visited the lighthouse at Peggys Cove.

I also enjoyed the Bay of Fundy Museum. We went to Prince Edward Island and visited the Anne of Green Gables House. And had some fine seafood in Lunenburg which is off the ocean.

so there are some areas you might enjoy and think about visiting.
