I
find farmville a wonderful stress reliever. I do seem to fall into
a time warp when I am playing and focus on it. The social contacts
have all been upbeat and friendly.

Hi
puptent

I am enjoying
farmville. I got the snag bar and a friend of mine suggested
getting tons of neighbors, as you did, but I'm a bit leary of that.
I just play with the friends of mine on facebook who play. My
friends are more into Kimgdoms of Camelot. I started, but found it
to be a true thinking game, and I do that all day, farmville takes
me away from that. I hurt my shoulder, tore a rotator cuff so that
has taken me away from the gym. I imagine once it's fixed, I have a
surgery for it coming up, I'll be back to the gym as soon as
possible but will probably still farm. It's enjoyable.

You probably have
a few friends on facebook who farm, just have a few neighbors,
takes longer to acquire things, but the time does go by, and things
do get acquired 😉

Hey
andii I only have two FV friends. One is all but inactive and my
other friend is really her sister. How in the heck did you injure
your shoulder? I had that type of injury twice. Once when I stepped
on a garden tool and fell straight down side ways the other time
shoveling. No where near as serious as yours it did not require
surgery. I belong to a gym as well. Can you do some cycling til you
heal?

Hi
puptent,

I was collecting
rocks at the beach and the bag was oober heavy and I tripped and
fell- DOH! But I figured it would heal. I thought it was calcific
tendonites, but that's in my OTHER shoulder- I forgot that my right
one has that. When Ihurt the left one I thought it was the same
thing. duh. It just kept flaring up. I had cortisone shots, slowed
my weightlifting to lower weight but more reps, and I didn't know
it but was injuring it more. The rotator cuff is torn and it won't
heal without surgery I guess it's a tendon that has to be sewn back
together. And there's a huge glob of calcium formed in that area
due to that injury and me waiting so long to actually do something
about it. I am just so, so happy that this is getting fixed. It
hurts 24-7 and has for months, sometimes nauseatingly so. Guest had
a thread about his sinuses and his actions motivated me to get to
the doctor and get things taken care of. I'm thankful to him for
that.

I only have 5 or 6
neighbors on farmvile but it's actually alot for me to keep up
with! My computer is so slow...

Sorry
to hear about your injury. You have a good attitude towards your
surgery. If it were me I'd be freaking out. Is your computer slow
or is your internet connection slow?

It's
my computer puptent. I'm pretty sure. It's 9 years old. I figure
the modern day applications bog it down. But i'm getting a new
tower in a couple weeks.

I hadn't thought
about cycling. I'ma run that one by my sweetheart. I miss the
gym.

On the crop
mastery signs- I know I've mastered a few crops, how do I get the
signs? I know that might be a stupid question.

Your computer has lasted a long time! They have a lot of stationary
cycles in the gym where I go. That way you do not need to use your
arms. I think the crop mastery signs appear in your gift
box.

WEll
then maybe I haven't mastered crops. I thought I did because when I
harvest it says crop mastery bonus or something., But I've never
had a sign in my gift box. Now I'm curious...

In
the past i do recall getting a pop up saying something about crop
mastery. I do not recall getting any signs for it. I got bored and
used my coins to line my farm with blue bales of hay. I still have
a ton of coins. My lil farmer got a new make over.

I
need to get a combine. I tried to buy one and could not figure out
how. When do you have surgery?

andii
- when you go to the market to buy seeds you will see under the
picture 3 stars. Once you have enough crop mastery to fill all
three stars in you will get a crop mastery sign for your farm.
Happy farming.

I
enjoy FB for keeping up with fam/friends but I don't have the time
to play their games and such. And I hate getting game requests! If
given the free time, I would rather sit with a cup of coffee and
enjoy a good book! 🙂

andii- that is lots of parts. How long did it take for you to
get them? I really need one. I will be thinking of you on Friday
and hope you have a quick recovery.

bangles, not everyone is into the game thing. I enjoy FB
because I get to see my family, nieces and nephews that live far
from me.

well
the game thing definitely isn't for everybody I get teased so bad!
But I just realy do enjoy it! I know you can hid games on facebook
so you don't see the requests. It took oh gosh, a month I think to
collect all these parts? I installed the gamer's unite snag bar and
that helps quite a bit.

Thank you for the
good wishes puptent!

I get
it- the sign mastery that is! I haven't gotten a sign because when
I look at the starts, I don't have anything mastered. But now I can
watch the progress. Thank you Curious!

bfgirl, thank you
for the good wishes. 🙂

ouch
puptent! I shall be typing with one hand after Friday I'm sure. I'm
kinda scared puptent. See, I thought since this was an outpatient
thing that I'd go in Friday, sleep til Saturday, do some laundry
and chill at home, catch a movie Sunday and head for work on
Monday. WEll I did all the pre-op stuff yesterday and that's a NOT.
The doc and staff found my perspective a bit humorous. I've been
advised to take the whole week off, coming home with a pain pump
and to a mass prescription of vicodin- these things are horse
pills.

okay. I'm nervous.
Yes, this too shall pass. But I'm nervous.

andii- ortho surgery is major. The type of problem you have is
deep within. There will be a lot of swelling. I would imagine
Physical Therapy to help you rehab. If you cannot swallow the
vicodin then soak it in the smallest amount of hot water and add it
to some sweet juice. I hope you have a lot of pillows cause you
might not be able to lay on your back or on the side of surgery.
You will probably want to lay on the unaffected side propped with
pillows. Hypnosis is great for nervousness. I will be thinking
about you. Will miss hearing from you.
