Yes OMW,, I do. I've read stories of incidents that have happened to people, and those people are convinced angels were involved in their incidents.. The chills I had when I read the stories also confirmed that something out of the ordinary had happened.

Call them angels or whatever you wish. There is so much we really have no idea about.

Glad you brought this up,, It's a good time for me to ask if anyone has heard of empaths before,, if so, and you know that you are one, what level?

I'm a low level.

Yes, I believe in angels. I believe in miracles and guidance too, tho' I am not always sure who/what is guiding what. got it? Because I myself am not always sure. Life is full of wonders and unexplainable events.

I had never really thought about it too much...being raised Catholic, I was always taught that angels exist. So I guess I believed.

About two and a half years ago, I got a call from my boss. She told me a colleague had stage 4 lung cancer, and needed me to be on call to help out in her classroom whenever she needed to go for treatment or appointments. I didn't really know this woman, but soon learned she was a wonderful, strong, spiritual person who taught me a lot about life. We spent a lot of time together, and I was blessed to have known her. She passed away this past May.

This summer, I was driving in my car contemplating my marriage. I felt her presence in my car with me. I wasn't thinking about her at the time, and hadn't really thought about her in a while because I was so obsessed with my own problems. I was overcome with sadness, because I somehow felt that her death was supposed to be a sign to me. She was sent into my life to lead me to where I was supposed to be, and she was now watching over me to make sure that I was strong enough to handle it. I cried and cried, feeling guilty that she had to die to become my guardian angel. But I truly believe that is what happened. I still feel her presence, and I thank God for her strength and guidance every day.

This may sound corny, but I really never had anything like this happen to me before.

Most certainly! After all, there have been many a time where my cats have followed with their eyes something or someone floating above my head (and it wasn't a bug or anything like that.) I even had one cat that zoomed his head in and out as he was looking through a screened window! No way that that could have been an bug or fly or insect! Angels are amongst us all the time. Looking after us. Prodding us in a direction that is in our best interests....without a doubt!!!!!!

Oh my word... my cat ADOPTED ME!

I was leaving to move to Florida and stopeped to see my friend. this cat, they called 'shitty kitty' came over to me. She would NOT leave me alone!! I picked her up. My friend said she, the cat, never would let anyone handle her the way I did. She purrred and purrred. My friend sai; 'she' yours.' Just like that! She gave her cat she loves to me. She said the cat will act like a guard do to me. She DOES. She greets me at the door when I return. I say good bye and she meows. If I am in the bathroom, she sits and watches me like a royall queen. She will not sleep with me, but lays in the bedroom hallway. After I sleep, she comes to sleep next to me and is there when I wake up. Wherever I sit, or do, she follows me. She is my guardian angel, I truly believe this. She even looks into my eyes. Phenminal. And I have had cats all my life, but never one as my new 'Schotz'; German for sweetheart.

Beautiful everyone!!! Great stories!! I love this thread!!

Empaths are people who connect with others and are able to feel what they do.. I had never heard the term before I met this really GREAT guy!!! He told me about it, and I looked it up on the net,, just keyed in empaths,, and got some really neat sites on the subject.

There are stories about people who "know" something is wrong with a loved one even though the loved one may be a great distance away,, that type of thing. I'm not able to do that, but my dad does it and has for as long as I can remember.

It's really interesting and if you are very intuitive, you will love to read about this. Happy Thanksgiving all!! W.

Ant one remember the movie "Elmer Gantry" with Burt Lancaster?

He had a line during a tent revival...
I paraphrase.

"You know why I believe that there's a sweet Jesus in Heaven? Because I've seen the Devil plenty of times!"

Oh cheez, don't make me preach...kidding. Those old classics are so great, still watch them once in awhile.

I'm a sap for the holiday Jimmy Stewart/Donna Reed It's A Wonderful Life, with the angel, but can't remember his name...anyone remember that?

Good grief where is everyone tonight?

Charlie? or was it Lawrence?
Nope, it was Clarence, the angel. He was played by Henry Travers.
So what was Clrenence the angel's last name?

500 points for this correct answer

When I was pregnant with my son, I knew something was wrong with him, and also with my second son, I could not buy him anything, because I knew he would not be staying very long. He died at 19 days. I also knew the names of both my neices before they were named. I knew my sister was going to be hit by a car when I was a child, before the fact. I know when the phone is about to ring. and lots of little things like that.

Hi everyone! This is a great thread. My daughter almost drowened in a pond in our back yard when she was eighteen months old. There is no way she should have had her head above the water. I know in my heart her guardian angel saved her.

I think some of you know I do numerology. Well, master numbers are doible digit numbers. These #'s are high energy #'s and when the person living the number enjoys positive traits and works hard, the benefits can be tremendous and often leaves a lasting impression to the world.

I've read alot about these master #'s and 11,22,and 33 are more common. Now, more are coming to the earth with higher master #'s. My daughter was born 11/22/1993. You also add the master # as a whole so 11+22+22 (1+9+9+3=22) you get 55 when adding this together.

From the time she was little she was blessed. There is not much she cannot do if she tries but its really not any one talent as much as it is an overall balance.

All I can say is thank God for the angel who saved my girl. She has an intriquing life ahead.
