I can't rememeber the last time I was so enthralled at a "battle of the wits" I thought that it was a great debate! - Though I did notice that there wasn't one single black man to ask a question. Does Missouri not have any black men???? I thought that rather odd - did anyone else catch that?

I caught the tail end of it in my hotel room. What I thoguhth was funny was how nobody would answer the actual question that was presented to them. The prime example would be the question posed to Bush, "What are the three biggest mistakes you have made during your presidency and what steps did you do to rectify them." Or something to that effect.

Bush's response was something like, "I know you want me to say my biggest mistake was starting the war in Iraq. And I don't feel that was a mistake. etc..."

No. They didn't ask if the war was a mistake. They asked what he thought his 3 biggest mistakes were. I actually wanted to know that too. Friggin' politicians. And Kerry was just as bad at that game too.

Hi Silence,

I wholeheartedly agree. I have watched all the debates thus far and will watch this last one. Such a sad state of affairs, IMHO...

I'm not really into the packers. But if you read the link, then you'd understand why I'm pulling for them on the 31st.

So far - I've heard of two quotes:
"It's scary if you vote for Kerry." and from an earlier post: "Shave your pubes....NO MORE BUSH!!!" Heh hehe

Hi Brenda,

Well I'm not really very political but I do watch and listen. And I do believe everyone has a right to their own choices regarding politics. That was cute tho....

I might have to get into this later because as far as this election goes, I know one of them is a sorry SOB and if he wins, our lives WILL change. For the worse. I refuse to call my President "President Heinz"
Just my 2 cents...

Hugs, Sunny

Here's a good quote:

A bit offensive but all one has to do is look at Kerry's war record. The idiot injured himself and only needed a bandaid, yet got a Purple Heart. My father did 2 YEAR LONG tours in Nam and he died at the age of 58, from 25 years of service in the USMC. I do not condone war at all Silence. But I do know a snooty, self centered lying coward when I see one. Kerry.
Thx for listening!

Sorry,
But Bush is not an idiot?
This is a very disappointing thread.
If Bush gets elected (for the FIRST time) it will be proof to me that the general populace are idiots as well.

GO REDSKINS!

We should look at this election like your average guy looks at sex:

Would you rather have sex with a really hot chick who just laid there like a dead fish,

Or would you rather have sex with a really fat chick who knew how to do it right?

Either way, you’re screwed.

Bush Jr.'s dad was head of the CIA at the time. Bush did not serve overseas. He stayed in the US. I think that was a cop out.

My Dad is career military and my Mom is in the Army reserves as a nurse. My Dad gave up his life and his health for his country.

G-dub did not. He was a spoiled little rich kid whose Dad pulled strings so his son didn't have to risk his life like the rest of us poor dumb folk.

if you don't believe me, here are the documented service records for bush and kerry. There are two scanned documents on the page: one from john kerry requesting to serve in vietnam, the other from george W. Bush who asks that he not be sent overseas.

Frontline on PBS did an excellent comparision recently of the two - I'm sure you can check it out if you want to for the REAL story! Kerry, In my opinion has real guts and can see the real big picture and my money is on him come November 2nd along with many of other newly-registered democratic voters (6 to 1) if the Republicans don't steal it away again!!!! After all, brother Jeb was and still is the governor of Florida...... I would venture to say that come 11-2 Kerry is gonna win in a landslide - just you wait and see!!!!! (doncha just love the liberation brews?) 🙂

I could care less about service records. I just want somebody that will guarantee testicular electrocution to all those who get into monkey-shines.

Don't think for a minute I do not know what stop drinking the kool aid is....I do...It really is sad that YOU have yet to show your proof, mizella...This isin't a debate....Nope... I really don't give a flying flip where you get your info from nor do I care at this point. You yourself said 'This is a very disappointing thread". So why the pat on the back to your friend there? Do you really need that reassurance? I would love to see what your proof is...BTW, Cici....I do not go to websites posted here on this board concerning politics. So you wasted your time.....
Peace, Over and Out...

Like I said, may the BEST man win....
And I am quite confident in that he will...
