Hi,
I took a seminar about "getting rid of things that clutter our life", and one of the web resources they reccomended was http://www.flylady.net/pages/flyinglessons.asp
Have any of you tried this website? Did you find it useful? She said it was best for women who are at home fulltime.

Her site has been helping me. I was taking so long to do things just because I have the time, but with her ideas I've been able to get more done. Also, I've gotten rid of a lot of things so far and have more to go. Clothes I wasn't wearing, books collecting dust etc. I think it can be helpful for anyone even the ideas of getting things ready the night before for people who work or have to go out and have children etc. There is a lot to read on there plus what others write in and share, too.

Flylady is great. Just start off with her baby steps to start developing good habits. My only complaint is the large amount of email signing up with her produces. She emails reminders throughout the day and you really need to delete them right after you read them or you will have a very cluttered inbox. But there is a lot of good info she gives you. After you get used to the routine, you can always unsubscribe from the emails later on. She even gets into clutter body weight and relationship clutter.

The emails seem like too much, so I never bothered to sign up for them. (there is a sample on the website of how many emails you get under the section of Todays Email reminders)
The rest of the information on the site is very helpful to get you started.
The section on what people have thrown out during a "super fling boogie" is really funny! Hard to believe what some people have saved!!!

You know she mentioned I would get a lot of emails, but I have only gotten one so far. I click on to just that one to get tips for the day. Maybe it is because of how I signed up for it not to have my info public etc. Yes, I was thinking of how you do about all the clutter so I've been glad not to be getting all that so far. Maybe you can ask her about how to avoid all that. Just an idea.
