I need some advice because I don't remember everything that happened. I'm 21 and need some clarity. When I was about 5 or 6 I remember a male relative ( who is 5/6 years older than me) come into the room I was in. I remember I was crying because I got in trouble but he came to the bed and the next thing I remember is him doing sexual things like imitating sex like going back and forth and him telling me to kiss him. The second time I was about 7 or 8 and it was at night. He either asked if he could come into my room or if he could sleep in my bed. I must have said no because he either said that he or my stuffed bear would get mad or sad if he couldn't. The same thing happened again he was going back and forth and telling me to kiss him. I don't remember every detail like if I said no or told him to stop. Is it normal to forget details that happened? I also recently went through a stressful event and have had some panic attacks. I would get really anxious, have crying spells, and a hopeless feeling like I was going to die at a young age. Could this have something to do with this? Before I told someone I wanted to know if this was just kids being kids or sexual abuse. Sometimes I feel like I'm crazy because I don't know if I'm making it a bigger deal than it needs to be.

To have experienced that while you were still so young is somehow traumatic already and it can be some sort of abuse. But just to make sure, it might be best to consult your counselor/therapist so you will be given proper treatment and advice especially that you are experiencing occasional panic attacks. Yes, those instances might somehow related to what you've experienced in the past and you really need professional help to overcome that.

Wishing you well.
