This is an ongoing debate on abortion. If the child in the womb was conceived because of rape, will the mother have the right to abort the development of the baby or not? For me, I have to say yes. If the baby will just cause trauma for the rest of the life of the mother then it will be alright for me for the baby not to be delivered. My main principle here is that we need not judge othe person so let the mother's decision be her own and not judge her for what she will decide to do.

I cannot imagine this happening, it would be so heartbreaking.  I don't know what I would do - honestly.  How would that child feel when they asked about their dad?  Would you tell them if you chose to have the baby?  It's a very sad situation and of course if I knew anyone that was going through it I would stand be them with whatever decision they made.

This is definitely a huge moral dilemma. I am against abortion, so I would have to say that the right thing to do would be to have the baby and then give it up for adoption. In this situation, I think it is very important to remember that the innocent child had nothing to do with the horrific actions of the father.

I have a friend who had this happen. She kept the baby, because it helped her to know that something GOOD came out of the horrible experience. I do not believe one has a right to *KILL* just because of how conception occurred. If she doesn't want the baby, then there are a lot of childless couples that would be THRILLED to raise a little one.
