I see so many of the behaviors he displays and find some of the things I do that mirror his behavior. It's funny in a way but I do have certain things I have to do. I'm just not that clean though.Laugh

No, I have to admit that I have never even seen a full episode of the Monk series.  I saw a few minutes once, and apparently Tony Shalhoub did a great job, but it never tickled my funny bone.

I really enjoy the series. He manages to work even though he has a "disability" which makes me like the show even more.  I wish they would show more positive role models on other shows.

I have mild obsessive compulsive disorder, so I can relate to some of Monk's behavior, and it is pretty funny sometimes. I really liked the one where they didn't have the brand of bottled water he liked, so he didn't drink anything for days! I agree that he is a positive role model despite his condition, it's a good example of being able to overcome your faults with talent and hard work.

That's one reason I like to watch the show. He is a positive role model for those of us who have various issues we have to deal with every day. I would love to be able to hire an assistant like he has though. I don't see that happening any time soon though.
