Hi Sunny,

I just happened to be up and reading right now, and thought I would pop in.

Yes, I got your message and I'm sorry I did not reply earlier as I have been swamped with dealing with a recovering husband and some other things that have been going on in our lives.

Anyway, he was at Trinity in Carrollton. Do you know who I need to contact there?

So, what's going on? Why are you "leaving the site" - what has happened? I'm here...

You know? I have literally had my very life stolen now, not even talking about the greatest battle ahead of me yet in court...
Sorry...
Let me know if you are up to it..I am totally without hope..

Hey Sunny,

Can you elaborate on this comment: "Uh huh..I'll talk to my ppl in the AM..I do know the hospital..."

WHAT do you know about it???????

Just read the thread... I understand totally, but, I do have to ask - can you honestly tell me that you did not know who that was when the original post was put out there? I did, and it's not my situation.

Thoughts?

Truly? Never go to certain hospitals for care... I have a reason for saying that.... I know you had no choice.. I'll post in the AM then I'll have to leave... And I am really sad about that...Tell me what was the worst..nursing? If so, I have your back door ...

Boy, I'll tell you this much - I will not even take my dogs to that hospital. As a matter of fact, I did use some of your advice while I was there the first night. I asked to speak to the "charge nurse of the floor" - during which time I had to threaten to "if you do not give him something immediately for the pain, I will unplug him and take him back to Presby."

The biggest problem was that even the head nurses did not comprehend English. I kid you not. It was not that they were foreign, I have no issue with that... at all - I'm first generation American. My problem was they did not COMPREHEND what I was saying. I was trying to tell the nurse that his IV machine was not working. It was beeping literally every 5-10 minutes. So, I finally told her "I don't think this thing is working right." What does she do? She goes and gets another IV bag! That was only one example of this expasperating experience.

O.K. - on to your issue... well, I don't know what the SC will do as you did show him the site - and that is more than likely what she will say. Now, I don't know that for sure, but it is to be considered. The great thing about this site, is that when you are anonymous you can vent your problems freely, and hopefully get the feedback, ideas and possible help you need. Once, others, especially the very ones we are having troubles with know about this site, if they are controlling, or have other issues and decide to come here it makes it hard to "vent" - know what I mean?

For me, for a long time, I felt this was a safe place for me to vent. I lost a child from a drunk driver, then less than a month later, my daughter was brutally attacked and almost died. I had such over-whelming guilt over the second daughter because had I not been so wrapped up in being manipulated by my cousin in prison, I would have been paying 100% attention to my child and perhaps we could have taken other measures to keep her safe. Now, her life will NEVER be the same.

She will never walk again, without pain or without a walker or cane, and truth be told - she will probably always been mostly wheelchair bound. She will never have 100% of her hearing. She will always have some amount of confusion in her life, because of the brain damage. She will always have chronic pain. She lost a promising career. She will never bear children, had she wanted to, and she will always have chronic pain. Lastly... and I know this is so shallow it's pathetic, but she will never be the drop dead gorgeous beauty she once was.

This site has also helped me deal with major changes in my oldest son, which have all been for the best. He went from living with a crazy woman, and on the verge of having a serious drinking problem, to being married to a wonderful girl, who has given him a set of beautiful twins, has another set on the way - and in all honesty - has given me my son back. But, the changes were hard, and I will admit, I questioned what her "agenda" was, although I now know that she had none, she simply loves my son.

However, as time wore on, I felt comfortable in revealing perhaps too much information... and have been atttacked twice... not cool. I had stopped posting for a while, and I'm sure as you have seen, I only post to specific threads now; generally to those that I have really come to care about, or I will reach out to those that I think might benefit from something I have to say. I still believe in the site - or I would not have donated to it... but, personally for me? I'm not comfortable posting as freely as I used to.

That is your choice... if you no longer feel safe, or if you want to change your "nick-name" and you and the SC can come to an agreement, great... I hope you can because I would hate to see you leave.

Z.

Sunny, Zin,
Hi girls, everyone OK? Stepped away from the site for awhile, felt it would be good for a little while. Wanted to check in to see how you two are, I've missed talking to you both.
Sunny, are you alright? God, I am so sorry, I haven't been around to see how you are doing or feeling. I'm still not sure, but I hope you see this and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Know you have many friends who love and care for you on this site, hang in there!
Zinny, is your sweetie alright? Hope you are doing well, I think of you two often and how lucky I was to have found such good friends to turn to and were my "angels in disquise" when I was going through everything with my ex. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. And I hope I can return the favor.

Sunny and Zinnie; I hope I am not intruding on your thread. I think you are both fantastic ladies and have been here since the beginning for me and made a world of difference when I desperately needed it.

Sunny: I am so sorry about what happened. Have read all of the pertinent threads and can't imagine what you are going through. I wish there was something I could do for you. If I never am able to corresond with you again I want you to know that it was a pleasure to interact with you and share. You are a wonderful person and I think from all of the threads re: you, you should know you have had a positive impact on people's lives here. From that, I know that is how you live your life and God bless you for that. I wish you the absolute best and hope you get thru your troubles w/ deserved justice. Sincerely, with caring and love: Sandi

Hi TMV,

Good to hear from you, I was thinking of you only last night and hoping all was well for you.

SD - no, you are not "intruding" don't ever feel that way - with me anyway.

My husband is feeling better, he is back at work - he worked half days Mon, Tues, Wed - then about 3/4 of the day yesterday and we will see what he does today. For me, I have opted to take a "leave" right now from work for many reasons. First of all I'm not feeling well. The Dr.'s have changed my medications around and I feel like I'm "reeling" if that makes sense? Sometimes when they make these changes it seems like my body takes a week or so before it gets calmed down and used to the changes.

That, and I have been dealing with the co-worker/unit leader from hell... and frankly - I'm just not up to it.

Now, on the good news front... been busy with helping my daughter plan her wedding, and also working on two new blankets for the new grand-twins that are on the way. My daughter is doing well, she is starting a new therapy for her leg this week, with a new physical therapist. Her goal? To walk down the aisle. My daughter-in-law is doing fabulous. How she manages to care for two infants, and be pregant with another two is honestly well beyond me, but she is doing well, and feeling good. We had a small scare a bit ago, she slipped and fell... no harm done thankfully, she was just sore. Seems there was a loose tile in the hallway and her shoe snagged on it. She was sitting on a donut with a heating pad for a few days, but is otherwise O.K.

Hoping all is well for everyone, and Sunny if you are indeed reading, hoping you are O.K. and safe.

Z.

Just checked to see if you had heard from Sunny yet. Take care, Z. I'm glad your husband is back to work and hope he keeps improving everyday and you, too, okay.

Thanks Tumbles,

The only bit of "bad" news that we got on Wednesday when he went back to the Urologist was he apparently has several other stones formed in his kidneys. However, since they are still in the kidneys they can be broken up by using ultra sound.

We are in the process of changing Dr.'s though, as I want to be sure that he has one that is out of Presby Plano. So, hopefully, once we make that change he can have those broken up and avoid any further episodes.

Thanks for caring...

Z.
