I am scared of the number 27 and I don't know why. I have had this silly fear for about three years. My 27th birthday is in a few months & I am scared to death. I am driving my husband crazy. Is there anyone out there with this problem?

No. I don't have that problem. But I do have something about the number 33, and well 6 more days and I turn 33.It's not fear of the number just something about it for years now. Calm down about it because well you can't control it anyhow. Fight it. Plan something extra special for the big 27!

I think I'll skip on over to 28. I think my big issue is that I can't control it. I feel like I am going to die when I'm 27. I had a wreck saturday & my son was with me and the mile marker at the site was 127. I can't even sleep since this happened.

If it's your time to go and you die, is that what you think you are trying to control here? Well you can't. In some instances you can be careful and listen to warning signs. You are going to waste a beautiful occasion....your 27th birthday. Find other things to think about.

try writing down everything that you are feeling. Make a list of things that you wanted to have acomplished in your life before you die. Make a list of things that you are going to work on. If it makes you feel better make a will, or a plan for what you want to happen if you do die then, like a DNR if you do not want to have life support. Doing these things will give you a little bit of control over the sutitation. Do not worry too much, There is a reason for everything that happens. Maybe it is the gods way of letting you know that this is the big year for you and that you need to make the most of it.

Why don't you convince your self that your birthday was actually your conception date, I mean really. We have so much that we could be paranoid about, and like sygg stated your not in controll. You can't hide from life, just be careful. Do some numerology fun, turn it around in your head.

What about being 26b Years old? Like Hotels never have a 13th floor, only 12b 🙂

When I was a girl there was a very popular song about this guy who wakes up, takes a look at the calendar, finds out its Friday 13th. From then on everything that can go wrong, will do so in various funny ways. He ends up in prison, only to notice that he got the date wrong.

Don't worry too much and have a nice birthday!

WOW! This is pretty amazing to me. I honestly feel better even though the fear isn't gone. There are just some problems I don't like to talk to my husband about. I love the idea of making a list. Thank you.

Ok Blondie, so, last year the year of the snake my year, does this mean 12 years of no daughters ? Exactly how far in starting something do you have to have been in that year to know if the seeds of what ever were planted ?

Ok, so there is hope, starting this yoga thing, Sybil has been ok, ugh that is scarey, ugh real estate ok, and then there is the non-profit for women that my friend is pushing me into, ugh notice how I avoided the daughter subject, actually her financial aid statement came Saturday, good excuse to call, but still haven't.... I am fearful of fire, hot coals and broken glass, tender feet, and butt thanks to epileptic machine. So, ya all think I should call them ? Could be C. S. and send an e-mail............

I use to have a problem with the #83 & I know that had to do with 1983 being a really bad year for me but I have no idea what #27 is all about. I wasn't here in 1927! Hopefully I will just get over it like I did with 83 and I have no clue how I did it.
