WTG ((CAMER))
That's a great report from you. I went back to your first post (disappointment in not loosing lbs. faster)
Loosing weight slowly is the BEST route.
Plus there is the trade off of Muscle being denser than fat. You can be losing fat! The muscle density increasing will spead up weight loss when you're training after a few weeks.
You're loosing weight and that is what counts.

It's so encouraging to see some here getting results, sticking to what will help us get through very difficult lives.
I can't do anything about some negative people around me, and I was letting the emotional stuff block my efforts.

I realized life treats us how we treat ourselves. Thats the bottom line.

Still not out of the woods....but exercising and eating right helps,.ALOT! ;0)

Lots of emotional stuff going on, almost overwhelming. Many of us are in the same boat.
While I work on sorting away all the emotional stuff dragging me down (Ma Strong mentioned rehashing, going over past hurts as a sign of final healing in another thread...not fun!)

My fitness update is I went to the gym yesterday, did eliptical (15 mins.) weights for 20 minutes and 25 laps in the pool and water exercises. I've included sit ups in my workouts also. I'm really pushing the limits with weights: building muscle mass and alternating with cardio.

Today I took the Dog for a walk in the woods. That involved almost a KM uphill climb. It was a cold but sunny calm day (no wind)....very nice!

Tomorrow is a Boxing session with my trainer.. and swimming.

All the best to fellow fitness heads!

So if it's just me here.so Be it!LOL

Todays update: My juicer went Kerplunk Yesterday...It was an old Sears juicer I bought for $5 at a thrift store about 8 yrs ago.It finally died.
So I went out and bought a NEW 800 watt Hamilton Beach juicer (not a Lalane, but I don't want to wait for weeks delivery, and it is only a 250 watt one), with a huge opening, so I don't have to cut up stuff anymore...just wash and throw the whole thing in.
Made a carrot, fennel, spinach, celery, pepper, apple combo.

Juiced at the gym today with weights, and cardio...then juiced at home.
Just JUICED!

Hope ya'll are too! (in your own way of course)

Its not just you, Msg, i have been going to the gym and working out. Three times a week. Is that juiced enough? Wonder what juiced means here...

Cant sleep. Good cuz I got the letter to Isis from Michie.

Other than that, pushing my issues wth my still big belly... now thats a work out.

hugs,

I have been forcing myself and my pups to walk one hour a day since I had recovered, sorta from the flu...I can feel the difference somewhat already...I go in the rain and the cold or else I would never go, and keep on track here.

Hi Sinii
I know It's not just me working out. I'm not getting the communication in this thread.it's ok. :0)

I just feel good today, whew! Juiced.
It's like Jack Lalanne when he does his infomercials. He gets so pumped up and excited. An old man of 90 now with so much vitality! It's all about the "juice"/exercise/diet to him....kinda manic (when you see him in the commercial)
Check out his exercise regime. No Gym needed.
http://www.jacklalanne.com/bod.....orkout.htm

I guess I'm controversial. I dunno.

Everyone (90 % it seems) have been posting here for over a year!
We all do our own dance.

Maybe I dance like Elaine?? ( Seinfeld)..maybe I dance like Shakira!! ( I wish)
At least I'm Dancin!

Regardless of our personal baggage, we have to take good care of ourselves. It makes the journey so much easier to handle.
Peace.

Hi ((SOA))
You had pneumonia right? Glad your recovering and can get back out now.
Maybe if you didn't get sick (timing) the move would've been easier?

Walking the dogs for an hour sounds great. That's a good long one!..I have a dog too. He's a Labweiler (Lab Rotti X)

I don't walk him as much as my partner tho. Usually two to three times a week for me. He's mainly "his" dog. He sure needs A LOT of work. Our vet calls him THE Specimen. Georgeous!

So I made a batch of veggie power juice. Here's a cyber glass.
To your health!

dance like Elaine! Ha! I DATED like Elaine when she fell for that video store kid - talked to "Vincent" on the phone about film and thought he was "the one" , brought him booze and then ran into his mom

and when she fell for the guy with no money - they ate out of the garbage or something like that, then she found out he was married

"sponge worthy" guys...

Damn I love Seinfeld!

Elaine was so mouthy and the way she would push the guys, Just slam them in the shoulders when she got mad, or to make a point.HA!

Politically incorrect, but oh so funny.

I loved Seinfeld, too, MsG, havent got cable now. Try a Swiss lemonade: 5-6 green aples and one lime. Said to be good for headaches (Fit for life book). Sorry you were sick, SOA. Mary, you rock, lol.

he he. Remember the "shrinkage" episode? Elaine saw George nekid as a jay bird and said "I don't see how you guys walk around with those things".. hahahahaha

I think my favorite episode is when Kramer had use of a handsome cab and fed the horse some beef a roni or something like that, and the horse got gas. It was supposed to be a speical evening for George's parents but they couldn't stand the smell.

Okay, I haven't been to the gym since Friday, skipped Monday and Wed. I AM going to go tomorrow though (I think). How's this for an interesting problem- my upstairs neighbor- who I am currently in a lawsuit against goes to the same gym. Last Friday he was there and came to use the piece of eqpt directly behind me, and then came to the one 2 over from me. I just kept lifting the weights and STARING at him in the mirror. Nothing like a few extra hate calories to burn!

I seem to have dropped another pound but don't know if its from dieting or stress from the lawsuit. Oh well, nothing like a good case of depression to improve the waistline, huh?

aw ((sdesigns))

You're not easily intimidated! He came close and you what? increased the weight by how many pounds? ( 20-50?) then grunted and grimaced while glaring at him?ahaha
Did you make alot of excessive NOISE?LOL

I didn't go to the gym til today (since friday) because I've been hemmoraging! Really bad!So I had to stay rather still the last couple days.

Kindof manic, been "blurting" here all night, while surfing....and you sd? still rushing from your visit from PD? What does that stand for anyway.hehe
Aint it great to feel alive!?even if it's in inconsistant spirts?

Me? I got my Juicer now. Gonna have a long lasting relationship with Mr. Juicer..lmao. J/K

SD! Oh yes. how rude of me.
(nothing new)

Memories of Seinfeld. The Bean eating horse, and Georges lack of manhood.yes that played out through the seasons with more than just his shrunken pee-pee.

Festive_Us
I loved Peterman. The wise yet clueless Boss....The episode with the antique cake, Elaine eating it and being filmed by the security camera..doing a much better dance ( guess she has to be distracted to dance well, hehe)

Btw I drink from a Kramer cup almost every day. It says:
"I'm doing what I do. The way I've always done it and the way I'll always do it"
Priceless self affirmation!
Irony is, he wasn't boring like that stateemnt would indicate?

High on my TV list now is "Curb Your Enthusiasm".....still doesn't top Seinfeld tho.

Hey MsG: Can you spare a square? hahahaha I only need one square.

PD stands for Polka Dot. He has a cartoon character that he used to use on POF of this pathetic looking little guy wearing red and white polka dot boxers. Thats how he flirted with me initially- he took a pic off of my profile of me sitting on a camel at the pyramids, and he put little guy sitting on the camel behind me with his arms around me. Too cute! and cracked me up.

seinfeld theme, way to go SD!! I love the one with George, he has a "recording" on his answering machine, and its some *lingo* and he sings something like "hi this George, and I'm not home.....etc...ends with "where can I be"....can't remember the actual song he sings to this, but funny!! and the one about the "toys" and tripophan when Seinfeld & Elaine go to her house at thanksgiving and she has all these awesome kids toys, but she won't let anyone touch them, so they overfeed her turkey and wine...then play with her toys. I am so in the mood now to watch a Seiny episode!!
