I jinxed myself...saying I wasn't having morning sickness yet.

Well, here I sit, waves of nausea crashing over me...no vomiting (jinx myself again?)...but incredible nausea.

My body is SORE...cramps all over.

I have a 1 p.m. appointment...then I think I am going home.

I feel like crap.

Mind you, there are limited stores around here...so immediate relief is probably not possible...mail order maybe?

this sucks. I was hoping to escape this.

NOT!

Saltines first thing in the morning always helped me.

I had them sitting on the table next to my bed and before I even got up I would eat 1 or 2.

I always carried them with me and when that feeling would start I would eat 1.

I don't know why but it did help me and took away that nausea feeling.

Is is possible you are a little dehydrated and that is causing the cramps?

Hi Rising

Poor you...congrats on the lovely news but commiserations on the dreaded morning sickness.

The only things that ever worked for me were ginger biscuits and ginger ale.

And the ginger biscuits had to be eaten before I had got out of bed. It just didnt work once I had been up to the bathroom. Keep a packet next to your bed and try to eat 2 slowly as soon as you wake, before you get up. If they are too dry maybe have a drink of ginger ale afterwards but sip slowly.

Worked for me...good luck and take heart. Morning sickness doesnt usually last too long...

Take care

Ginger worked for me sometimes.

I had to take my pre-natal vitamin at night. They made my morning sickness way worse in the morning.

Also, salty potato chips together with real lemonade (stuff with the pulp, not mix stuff) also seems to help. Something with the salty and the sour.

Been in your shoes. Mine went away literally on week 13 day 1.

Good luck!!!!

I think if you have a friend or something who can help you, make some ginger snap cookies. They really helped my sis. And she had morning sickness during the whole pregnancy. So anyway, hope you feel better.

my mother told me that eating a few saltine crackers before getting up in the morning worked for her when she was pregnant with me.

Hope you try it and it works 🙂

so far so good.

I am armed now.

I have gingersnaps by my bed...when my tummy rumbles (more from hunger), I suck on one until it's all mushy and swallow it down...one usually shuts it up.

last two days have been better. I am finding the heat/humidity makes it worse....leaves me hyperventilating and nauseaus.

So, I stay cool and have italian ice at work to keep me cool.

I also have raspberry leaf tea, and crystallized ginger. I have yet to get B6 capsules...but they are said to help too.

I had TONS of energy yesterday...today I am "ehhh", so so.

today is more humid.

I felt ill after lunch but went to my desk and put my head down for a bit. 26 was worried, but I sent him back to his work.

I go tuesday to doc first appt.

problem is, my morning sickness is ALL day...not just before I get out of bed.

and usually it's preceeded by a hot flash, sweats, and my heart racing as my body decides if it want so purge or not.
