Hello all. I wanted to share with you something that touched my heart today.

My daughter just gave birth 3 weeks ago to a healthy, beautiful baby girl named Rachel Kay. I was holding her today and talking to her and she smiled for the first time. My heart overflowed. My daughter saw it and said " If I turn to half as good of a Mother than you have been then I have really acompolished something special." Between the two of them all I could do was cry with gratitude that God blessed me with such wonderful children. I am truely blessed.

Tell me about your day.

That's beautiful.

I was at a church service last night, and the thing that touched my heart was that Jesus called Simon and Andrew when they were busy doing other things. And they just dropped what they were doing to follow Him.

That is wonderful...

That would be the one big thing that I hope to hear one day from my kids. I think that is a GREAT blessing. I shared this on my positive thread, but as silly as it sounds, what touched my heart was hearing my three year old, saying "bye-bye" to her poopy in the potty as she flushed it yesterday. They are so sweet and innocent.

What touched my heart today was that I realize that by releasing my anger with other and to learn to communicate well has been a blessing to me. To open my heart to the good things in life and realizing that when I smile, other smile also.

tink, what a beautiful sweet story. my boys touch my heart everyday. 2 faces I will always remember with my middle son who is expecting his first child (a girl) and my first grandchild (so excited!)...is the look on his face when he was married lst year when his bride walked down the isle, and the look on his face when he found out he was having a little girl....precious moments indeed.

What a sweet and nice thing for your daughter to say to you.

For me, it was the special needs kids that come into my work every Mon. and Thurs.

Today they got to carve pumpkins. They were so happy and so proud of themselves....I couldn't help but smile.

Tink that was a beautiful moment for you indeed.

Today my 12 year old grandson told me as always that he loves me and to have a nice day. And he always says as I am driving away be safe!

He is so loving with me.

What touched my heart today we spending time around some young children. They were so full of energy and so enthused about life. I admired their creativity in some of the ideas they showed me of things they made up. Really fun. I don't always enjoy being around young kids, but I found something to admire in each and every one of them today.

What touched my heart is my bf. I got a phonecall the other day saying my mother (who is mentally ill and an alchoholic) was about to be evicted. The next thing I knew, My bf sent her a check to pay for her rent that was owed. He is truly wonderful and I am grateful my mother won't be out on the streets.

What touched my heart today, was all of the comforting words I came home to, today on this website. I thank God for all of my friends here! 😉

This touched my heart today:

I went to take my daughter to volleyball. She has a girl on her team whose mother has been battling breast cancer for almost 2 years. She was hospitalized and put on IV morphine a few days ago, and is being moved to a hospice tomorrow.

Her 16 year old son was there at practice, because he had brought his sister. I asked him how his mom was doing, and he said not well. He told me he was going to the mall with his grandma after practice to buy clothes for the funeral. It just hit me and I started to cry. He looked at me and said, "Don't cry", and gave me a big hug. I thought that was such a sweet thing for a kid to do...a kid who is about to lose his mother, who should be in such pain...to comfort ME.

It touched my heart, for sure.

Jenni, you took the words right out of my heart. The numerous repllies on some of the sites. Strangers who have fallen to their knees to help another. Feeling the pain of anothers pain in their heart. You are all so worthy. I am proud to say that i am a member of this loving family

I saw one of the seniors I work with and she said "With all the temperatures fluctuations" here in the Northeast, "from hot to cold to hot again. I got one yellow rose to grow. It was the last plant that my husband planted before he passed. He just loved roses. Later today I'm going to walk over to the cemetary and give it to him". She is 84.

I prayed that my boys, ages 13,10, & 8 learn responsibility, listen to me more and become successful in their lives. Later that night while I was watching TV my youngest came over to me and kissed my forhead and said "I Love You Mommy" My oldest came in and started to make small conversation about his studies and my middle child came in and hopped on my bed. I was so touched by their displays of emoptions. I had had a busy day at work and when I got home my house was not cleaned and neither their rooms, I yelled and told them that they needed to act more responsible and then retreated to my room, locked the door and prayed. GOD HEARS ALL AND SEES ALL. And I Thank God for getting the message through to my boys! Amen

I watch my cats sometimes, which are brother and sister (both fixed). They cleaned eachother (vet says he has never see such clean ears on cats.) and sometimes sleep together, which was what they did today. It touched my heart because the girl had her head on him and he had a front paw on her. It amazed me that even animals can be tender and loving with eachother. Of course, I have seen the boy grab his sister by the back of the neck and drag her across the floor as well!

I was very overwhelmed with my "to do list" lately. I prayed and asked HP to help me with it. As the day unfolded, I found it amazing how just everything seemed to fit/fall into its place. All the things I needed to do lately was done, nothing forgotten or missed, not to mention that with this chilly weather & the absence of the sun, I start to have some osteoarthritis & pain at my lower back. Yet, thanks be to HP, He really helped me sort them out all!!!!

Awesome thread folks, keep it going!!!

Robin McGraw "inside my heart" book. I shed a few tears several times in the course of it.

Another was receiving a photo of my 3 year old granddaughter at her ballet class. She looked so sweet it made me smile.

My brother telling me, thanks for calling and that he loves me.

Email from another daughter stating how important I am to her.

Need I go on... 🙂
