Does anyone know that movie, "Swingers". It is about this guy going through a bad break up and how he copes. There is this hilarious scene when he keeps calling this girl he is interested in and she finally tells him to stop calling. It reminded me of me. I had to laugh!

Johnny Depp looks a little too much like Micheal Jackson in the new willy wonka. I'm a big fan of the old one. This new thing looks a little too creepy.

Sounds like fun Randomwomen2. I would love to have a movie star dream instead of dreaming about my ex! If we could choose to dream about people, I'd start making my movie star list now (gee, just like a teenager)! Unfortunately "Real Life" men don't interest me yet... too high maintenance!

Let me know if Jake Gyllenhaal likes older women. 😉

I had to "admit" to my boyfriend my crush on Johnny Depp. He asked if I'd "do him" if given the chance, and I had to say that NO I wouldn't. Care too much about my BF. But, boy he's pretty to look at... sigh... I love him in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?"

Oh, yes and he's my age. We old folks gotta stick together.

But, once I had a dream about Mel Gibson... it was very sexual.

LOVE LOVE JOhnny Depp, my B/F pokes fun at me.. but we both really lke Sandra Bullock, and I poke fun at him for his Shania Lust....
There are so many good Movies..
I really likes Pecker.
I love oddball, Indie movies too.
James woods, quirky "dark" offbeat humor..
HAIRSPRAY, crybaby, rivers edge, drugstore cowboy, the outsiders,(MATT DILLON!!)
Med Ryan is adorable too, so I like her silly movies. there was one that was depressing , she was an alcoholic, with a husband and a child... made me cry, but was still good.
Loved Legend, Labyrinth, willow, Heathers, jawbreaker, toxic avenger, attack of the killer tomatoes,((LOVE B mpvies)) supertroopers, snow white, lady and the tramp, but do plan on having princess Bride playing at an official wedding reception..since we never did the church/legal wedding thing((piss poor)) so when we do it again "officially" I'll be showing that movie.
Clerks was great too!! and oh what was the name of it.. they were in drag, went ot some "small town" and it was odd, but sweet.
down and out in beverly hills......

Anime Anime Anime! I have had a Perfect Weekend if I don't hear a word of english come monday!

(I read the subbs, I can't speak it YET! LOL!)

Oh, and SciFi! Anything Stargate! LOL!

(I also have a big "Alternative" indi-printed comic book collection...)

I may be a Chick but I have totally embrased the term of "Fan Boy"!!

If anyone out there knows of a Chick based term for Fan Boy PLEASE let me know! People look at me strange when I call myself that! ROFLMAO!

But when I'm REALLY upset I have to read a book. Anne McCaffrey, Anne Rice, R.A. Salvatore, John Saul, Andre Norton, Piers Anthony... My list goes On and On and ON...

This is a great Thread! I can't stop laughing!

Night all!

Randomwomen-

Jake Gyllenhall was in a cult movie called "Donnie Darko," also in an excellent movie w/Jennifer Aniston called "The Good Girl," and "Moonlight Mile" with Susan Sarandon and Dustin Hoffman.

Most people will know him most recently from "The Day After Tomorrow" - the global warming/ice age disaster flick. I was kind of disappointed with that one.

I can't believe I even give this this much thought at the age of 36. Oh well, better than the things I could be thinking about.

This thread makes me chuckle,

I had to add my two bits about Johnny Depp - LOVE him! RW - I can't believe I've found someone who remembers 21 Jumpstreet. I think I was in highschool at the time, and had the biggest crush on Johnny Depp! Recently my husband and I rented Chocolate - and it ended up being one of my top 10 favorite movies. I have to say, I think anything he's in turns out to be a good movie (Pirates of the Carribean - whew!) Okay, I've digressed enough, I'm 37, almost 38, and too old to be acting like a teen-ager! *smile* BTW - did anyone mention Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve? That's another of my favorites. Have a good day one and all! ~saralynn

Oscar (YES, Sylvester Stallone is actually funny) - it will make you laugh out loud with all that this man has going on. Especially when you realize that all of the happenings are within a two to three hour time frame.

My Fellow Americans - Just silly and funny.

The Blues Brothers - Can any child raised in a Catholic school not see the humor in all of this?

Secondhand Lions - I caught this on cable, then went out and bought the DVD. Michael Caine, Robert Duvall, Haley Joel Osmet - all in one movie! Should be enough to catch your attention, but the story is just out-right fantastic - and in the end? When he is remembering his uncles? "Yes, they REALLY lived" - what a great message.

and of course for all of you old timers here... LILO & STITCH - well, because you know... I have a crazy crush on Stitch!

Z.
