Oh I love The Sweetest Thing too!!

Or how about "There's Something About Mary" Gotta love that one. Franks and beans, franks and beans.

If you are going to watch The Sandlot make sure it's the orignal. Just last week they came out with a new one called The Sandlot 2 which is the same story line - just made it more current for the times I guess.

I thought hard, but because I was feeling kind of down, nothing that might make me feel better came to me at first - self-pity is its own reward. Then I remembered - Bend it Like Beckham! If I had remembered, I would have watched it last night when I needed the lift.

I love 'Ferris Bueller's Day off' too. I think Mathew Broderick is so cute and the movie so freeing. 'When Harry met Sally' is also one of my favorites. I love Meg Ryan. There is another movie she is in with Tom Hanks where they meet on the Empire state building. I don't remember the name of the movie.

My fav is The African Queen with Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart with equally fav is the black and white orinigal of Rebecca based on Daphne du Muire's novel.

Then all others are so many to name. The older, the better, some even before I was born I love.

And the black and whites like The Killer Tomatoes, or any Hitchkock movies are good for a quite nite at home.

For a good laugh, I like White Chicks with the Wayans bros. Other than that, pretty much any Sandra Bullock movie, namely Practical Magic and Hope Floats. What can I say? A good cry makes me feel better sometimes!

Oh, one more pick me up, feel good movie that I've always loved is Working Girl with Melanie Griffith. I just love how a girl with nothing makes her way in the world and fulfills her dream.....

Princess Bride is my favorite movie...(I have the book also), but I also loved Young Frankenstein. Peter Boyle is in it and I also like him in "Everybody Loves Raymond". And what about the other Mel Brooks movies...Spaceballs, Robin Hood Men in Tights?

Well, I have to add this one:

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

And this movie must be watched with plenty of chocolate at hand...Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, M&M's, Kisses, and anything else that I can get my hands on.

I like to do it with lots of various candies myself--liquorish, jumbo marshmallows, candy dots, candy bars and so on--My favorite scene is when they go into the big candy garden before the boat ride, so I guess I associate it more with color and variety than chocolate--me and some friends used to do this at the end of every semester in our interior design program to celebrate our final projects being judges...A REAL stress buster, especiall in pjs.

Good call, 2b!!

I have to agree exotic...I am a self professed candyaholic. I haven't had dots in so long...you made my mouth water!

Hello!

I love Willy Wonka...that has to be the best cheer-up movie, I also like "Hello Dolly" and "Some like it hot" with Marilyn Monroe!

OOh Willie Wanka with Gene Wilder... I guess for getting weird and scared it works for me. Quite frightening for a kid, but the new one with Johnny Depp looks even weirder...

Ya know what? Marilyn Monroe was a great comedian and not many give her credit for that. "Some Like it Hot" was great.

The name of the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan movie is "Sleepless in Seattle." Remember his son places the ad?

Castaway - Tom Hanks has a desision to make at the end of this movie - does he turn which way for the next round in life. Goodness knows why it makes me happy for I have found that so many ways lead to the same concluesion - confusion. Today - I am mostly confused! And my spelling needs help. AC.
