Yes. But it takes serious work to find it. And serious self-esteem that won't let you settle for less.

There are no rules, just communication. Disagreements and agreements is a great supportive relationship.

I think a supportive relationship is when someone loves you so much that they help to support your dreams, that when you talk to them each day it is like a breath of fresh air. Its like every time you are with someone else, you realize that that person has helped to keep you real and confident so that you can be the best you can be when you aren't even around them...so others get to see how wonderful you are too. Its going to sleep at night and knowing that you aren't in this world alone but knowing that if you were it would be ok because you are enough and you are beautiful. And you know it because that has always been what your friendship is about.

A supportive relationship to me is someone no matter what I need to say will listen and be understanding even if there may or may not be an answer. Someone that appreciates me for me. And someone that focuses the positive and not the negatives in life. And enjoy the person for who they are as well. Support each other and mostly to just share life with. Trust and honesty and be able to communicate about what you need is absolutely necessary. Cuz without these, the relationship is doomed or does suffer.
