another short one for you! i'm 5'2 and 3/4 (i always count that last bit.) 18 yrs old, 105lbs. right now my hairs shoulder length and purple (naturally it's brown, i think... it's been a few years so i'm not 100% sure what colour it REALLY is) i find myself topheavy, which is really annoying sometimes. brown eyes, and i've been told i have a gorgeous smile, and a 'look that can kill' but i couldn't tell you what it is... i guess i do an awesome pouty face, too! 🙂

i've been told that i look like rachel leigh cook (she's in "she's all that", and i don't even know what else) so i guess i can't be that bad looking, because rachel's a cutie!

I was out to dinner with my daughter and parents last night, and there was a woman there that my dad was yacking with, she had a baby with her, and dad was messing with the kid.

anyway, we got talking about how time flies and I said "yes it does"....and she asked how old mine was, and I looked across the table and said "twelve" and she looked at my daughter and back at me and her chin dropped and she told me that I did NOT look old enough to have a twelve year old child...she thought caitlin was my parent's child.

Happens ALL the time....when caitlin was a baby, I went camping with my parents and the lady told mom that children under 18 were free, so that meant she only had to pay for her and dad....I was holding caitlin....and I had driven in....she told me that I didn't look a day over 14...and that caitlin couldn't possibly be my daughter....lol....or my mom a grandma.....I had to show my license to prove it....and I was 24

I went thru that, too, when my girls were babies. Everyone always thought my Mom was their Mother, and I was just the older child. LOL!

I'm 5'9 3/4. Coming from a German family where all of my female cousins are 5'4 or less. Makes for funny family pictures because I have to stand in the back with my male cousins who are 5'10. My brothers help me out a little with being just over 6'. I just love it when I wear high heels and am not self conscious! Blonde, shoulder length hair, with sparkly blue eyes and 35 years of growing behind me!

For those that are shorter - I love the styles you can get in the petite section. I'm sure it looks funny when I stop and look at the designs that catch my eye in that section.

Hello friends... I'd like to join the 5'2" club!!!!! I have to disagree about the clothes in the "petite" sections of the department stores (at least in the U.S.). I find that they tend to look like they were made for little old ladies... very conservative and sometimes, downright matronly!

Besides being vertically challenged... I am quite cute! Long brown hair, brown eyes, nice shape... I did the "my heritage" thing, which I thought was a BLAST!!! It came up that I looked like Elizabeth Hurley! I have NEVER been told that, EVER! Not that I'm complaining because she is absolutely gorgeous, but honestly, I don't think I look one bit like her. I tried another picture and that one gave me Shannen Dougherty and Holley Marie Combes (both from the TV show "Charmed", wierd!)...

Anyway, that's my story!

It's fun to hear about what everyone else looks like! We are all a bunch of "lookers", aren't we????

hmmm

I'm 31 but pass for about 25-26...and on my last birthday I was id'ed to buy ciggies (you have to be 19 to buy in Canada) It was a bit of a stretch, but flattering nonetheless.

I'm 5'9 and about 135lbs, blue eyes, brown hair down to about my bra strap with natural auburn highlights- I must say....I have really kickass hair right now- layers and wispy, slanty bangs- (LOVE my hairdresser- she says I'm the best advertising she has! haha)

I am quite pretty and I have a pretty kickass body in general, but throw in the fact that I've had 3 kids in five years, and it's phenomenal!

I am wearing a 2 piece this year, and it looks pretty damn good, thanks to big boobs, toned arms, small waist and boycut shorts (to hide the stretch marks that remain from my 10 month old).

I know I've turned many heads- I'm a corporate trainer and was told by my boss once (jokingly) that I had to stay away from the class my colleague was running because I was too distracting. Apparently I was the talk of the lunch room after! I don't play on it though...not too often anyways! haha

Funny though- I know how I look, but my personal/love life is still a smouldering disaster!! Looks don't mean much if you don't love yourself first.

Well, I'd like to comment on the short people fashions.

I find it difficult, being a shorty, to find a decent pair of Capri's that DON'T go down to my ankles!! LOL!! They look like a "normal" length on me, not the way they're suppose to look! I sometimes have to roll them up!! 🙁

AWESOME, Ready! Great job! We're on our way!

I once lost 165 pounds, and his name was "EX HUSBAND"!! It was kind of a crash diet, (dead weight) but still healthy, and the weight stayed OFF!

Jenni,

You have a new handle, don't you? Wasn't it "jpw"?

{I once lost 165 pounds, and his name was "EX HUSBAND"!! It was kind of a crash diet, (dead weight) but still healthy, and the weight stayed OFF!}

Hysterical! ROFLMEO! (rolling on the floor laughing my eyeballs out) HNICS! (help, now I can't see :o) )

What did you do -- sabotage the passenger's seatbelt, make sure you were driving, and wreck the car (the "crash" diet) and therefore your ex became "dead" weight? Is he feeling all "grave" now? :o)

Oh, Seeker, YOU are pretty hysterical yourself! Yes, I'm formerly "ipw". I accidentally skipped the part where I was suppose to create my own nick name, when I registered. So they were kind enough to allow me to go back and choose.

The "crash" part of the diet, was the marriage, coming to an end, kind of like a train wreck.

So I guess, I "pushed him off MY train", so to speak!

His "dead weight" was the waste of space he took in my heart and mind, while he was only existing purely thru the influence of alchol and drugs. I often wondered, if he would even NOTICE that I was divorcing him! LOL!

UH, YEAH, he felt a little "grave" after he realized what had happened and why! But he has now "resurrected", and has a clear mind, and is no longer MY weight problem! He's now a part of someone else's diet! 🙂
