JohnMurphy,
I saw a link on one of your threads a couple days and i thought i would give it a try. I went to artdsm.com/recover the past two days and read the entire thing and it's the best thing i've ever read. All the confusing thoughts in my hand aligned in the reading and everything began to make perfet since. I am co-dependent and i've tried to read alot and find as much information as possible. This site spelled everything out for me and it has helped tremedously. Thanks!

As you ID your feelings about your situation, you might welcome and experience them just as they are. As you receive your feelings, you receive yourself, and a healthy, promising relationship develops.

Thank you for sharing. I am learning a lot from you.

JM, I brought this thread back up because I tried your advice last night. I was listening to a CD I hadn't listened to in a very long time. Sheryl Crow, the song is "Home"

I used to listen to this and wallow in the sorrow of the meaning this had for me. This time the feeling was sad but in a bittersweet sort of way. I tried to feel it more and did. I think this was somehow therapuetic and I too want to thank you for posting that advice so often to so many of us.

I'm actually looking forward to hearing the song again!

Yes. I encourage you to listen to it, as often and for how long as you wish, letting the memories and emotions come back and go, back and forth, in their bittersweet flow.
