Last night, my friend in Toledo's father was shot and killed at work by a disgruntled employee.

Please take some time today, to appreciate the good things in your life.....even if you have heartache, which I have too, at least we should be grateful for the good things.

This is a hard day

Starry,

I'm sorry for your loss. Its easy to get lost in your own sorrows and forget that other people may be suffering worse or just as bad.

It helps to think of the things we are truly greatful for...our children our family, the simple things in our lives that make us smile.

It is unbelievable.

You always hear about this stuff, but never think it would effect you.

It is on CNN and everything.
It was at the Chrysler plant, so I guess big news for a big company.

Thanks for the support!

I am ok,.... not great. Just talked to her...they just don't know what to do with themselves.

I am grateful lots of people around for support, especially since I am not there.

These things are so difficult to understand. So sorry for your friend's loss and that it also directly effects you as well. The reminder to not take those we love for granted as we never know, is good to remember, thanks for the remindre.

Thank you for sharing, although it is very painful. I think it is important for us to realize that any time can be "the" time, if you know what I mean. This time last week I had no idea yet that my mother was about to have a heart attack and end up in the hospital. She is fine, but man, what a burden if she hadn't been! Selfish as this sounds, I would be thinking of what I didn't get a chance to tell her! I'm so thankful I have had 2 more opportunities to massage her feet for her!!!

Love,

Ren'ai

So, Chrysler is being nice to my friends family, paying for the funeral, and helping etc.

Her and her mom and brother finally got some sleep yesterday.

OF course they are still in shock, but have a lot of people around.

Too bad, lots of news reporters outside the house....they can't even watch the news.

The mayor of the town they live in came over, and have police outside their house now.

I guess funeral home told them to have someone at their house during the funeral times...said sometimes people break into homes when they know everyone will be at a funeral, and this is so high profile and stuff.

Just thought I;d give you an update
