Terrorism & 9/11 are such a big deal with this admin., as is shipping folk off to Iraq under the pretenses that it will keep us safe. Pretty interesting how NY (my state & city) voted for Kerry, while some the states least likely to be hit by such an attack are Bush supporters. Hmmmm.

This election does little to restore my faith in humanity. Well, maybe Nader has the right attitude- let these people f*ck up the country so badly that even the most foolish in the general population will have to admit where the fault lies. In that case, good, yes bring on Bush. Let's see how much more crap he can get us into. I guess I could have voted Rep. if i wanted, my job and finances are secure (no thanks to bush), i have no relatives at risk for draft. I'm sorry for those whose aren't in the same position because the next four years are gonna be rough.

Bush is a liar, a bully and spoiled brat. That's why he's in the whouse right now. No sign of integrity or maturity here... All boy and no man.

Thanks for listening! :o)

i'm not comfortable with the way the elections are being run in this country, not trusting of our authorities. (not to say i don't believe that there aren't a lot of misled voters out there). i know i'm not alone in that either. that's a sad thing, when a government can't at least inspire that much trust and confidence.

I wondered as I submitted my vote that it would even matter.... that the powers that be want to get elected so badly, any lengths would be breached. No wonder people don't care to vote any more. The American Democratic process is dead. May it rest in peace until ressurrected four years from now. Any promising leads? Silence, what about you?

I think a lot of it is the beliefs held by the various candidates. I know that carries a lot of weight, esp in certain parts of the country.

what belief? That "I am everything and everything is me"? That "those who don't vote for me will die"? I mean, make your choice....

That's the most infuriating, because it's those social issues that will most likely never change. It's political suicide to change those laws in this day and age. Abortion will always be legal. Nobody is going to take away your gun. I just don't get it.

Stop the country, I'm getting off.

I can't take this. It's times like these I wish I had a man with big strong arms to enfold me. I'm so tired of being a strong, independent woman. Silence go hug a woman for me today.

If I get maced, I'm blaming you.

Too bad all of these old traditions are being broken. First the Red Sox win the world series. Then the Redskins failed to predict the election. next thing you know the Zero year rule will be broken. The Zero rule being that presidents elected on a Zero year are eventually the victim of an assassination attempt.

I voted for Kerry. I am very depressed and angry about the election results! I feel that too many Americans believed Bush's lies. I have great fear for this country and the world for the next four years. How many more disasters will Bush and his republicans create?! We are not safe from terrorism and I don't have any faith in Bush to protect us. He has made the world a more dangerous place with the war in Iraq. He will push his right wing christian agenda down the throats of the American people. I feel hopeless for this country and the world.

It does not look good for his second chance. But you gotta ask, did he give murderers in Texas a second chance? And what pray tell is the difference here? It is a sin in both instances.

Hey guys.

I want to say something, because, for half of this country, it is a very, very, somber day - for me too. I too, cried this morning. At least I didn't think the bigotry issue would be passed in all 11 states. It is, without words for me, the hatred, judgments, and division that have been created in this country - on so many levels.

I am so sad that our country has been brought to its knees like this. I listened to some election experts speak on PBS at about 10pm last night. They agreed, and made very good points, that this election was about fear vs anger. Fear has won. I am just so sad.

We'll get through it together. I'm here with you all.

Just had to put my two cents in. Bush won and I am happy. Yes, Iraq is a mess but Kerry would of left us open to more attacks. But only time will tell what happens!

Christians (inclucing Mormons) are good honest Christian people and that is good for the future of this country.

I voted.

I can't believe what has happened. W is back. The House and the Senate in his pocket. And what will happen to the supreme court in the next few years? I am afraid. Very afraid.
