I want to thank you for your input. first time i have wrote on this site. i am hoping it will help me. at first i was reading others and i thought, gee i have enough problems of my own without hearing about everyone elses. but then i realized that i am not alone. i went to work tonight and did not want to be there at all but as the night went on, it got better. i just miss him, why, i don't know. his presents i guess. kinda like a dog. you get use to it.

sunshine...I read your post to butterfly also. You've been through a lot. I don't think its really him that you miss. On reading your threads I think it really is that you have gotten used to the drama...your life has actually become the drama. Really, this is not a good way for anyone to live. You need to break this cycle of abuse. This is doable, but difficult. Have you considered 1 to 1 counseling? I have benfitted greatly from counseling myself, I would recommend it...you need to start takin care of yourself. The counseling will give you the tools you need to start living YOUR life without drama...not anyone elses life.

Also sunshine, there is a book which I have recommended several times "Codependent no more" by a lovely lady called Melanie Beatty. Do you think you could try this?

sunshine...I just wanted to add...about going to the trailer to do his laundry....STOP IT!!! Don't do that anymore...put yourself in his shoes...he thinks he can have his cake and eat it now. Let him work for your affection for a change girl...you are being a doormat...pick yourself up of the floor now, look at yourself in the mirror and repeat after me "I AM NOT A DOORMAT...I DESERVE RESPECT" now say that as many times as it takes for you to believe it.
