hi is me again I want say more about myself so you could understand me better..I'm 33yrs old I have a 7yrs old daughter and a 19yrs old son my bf is 27yrs old and it seems like he gets a long better with him than me and with my girl he just doesnt it seems like she bothers him and he always gets mad at her and that hurts me so much. I just don't understand why with my boy he is not like that.

Your son is older & independent and a male so there is more common ground. Your daughter is a female, young, and dependent a lot harder for him to relate to.

I agree with Destinystar he can relate more to your son then your daughter.

Is there a way you can expess this to him as he may not even be aware he is doing this?

there is little age difference between your son and your BF.

and so they may see eye to eye on alot of things.

your daughter is young and requires more attention - and he may not know how to give it...many young men don't "get" little girls...it's kind of an acquired thing if you aren't around girls growing up.

my BF is 26 - and my daughter is 13 - they get along well...but if she was younger, I am not sure if he would or not, as I don't know if he would know what to "do" around her, how to act, what to play, etc.

My brother is the same too - he doesn't "get" little kids...he's useless around them....until they get older and can talk about cool stuff, and play video games with him and stuff, they don't mix well with him.
